Is this some weird Dad joke I don’t get?I am good with @Glitch doing the game threads.
If what i am reading and hearing is accurate 1/2 those starting recievers won't be ready for Syracuse. Matthews is the only likely guy. Brazzel may go, but would likely not be 100% and i still worry about his confidence. The young dudes are about to get a bunch of time. I expect to see a lot of Brame and 12 personnel.Eric Cain's depth chart offense:
QB - 1. Joey Aguilar 2. Jake Merklinger
RB - 1. Bishop/Lewis 2. Star Thomas
WR - 1. Mike Matthews 2. Travis Smith Jr.
WR - 1. Chris Brazzell 2. Rod Jackson
Slot - 1. Braylon Staley 2. Amari Jefferson
TE - 1. Miles Kitselman 2. Ethan Davis
LT - 1. Lance Heard 2. J. Heard OR B. Warren
LG - 1. Wendell Moe 2. Sham Umarov
C - 1. Sam Pendelton 2. William Satterwhite
RG - 1. Jesse Perry 2. Sham/Moe/Anderson
RT - 1. David Sanders 2. Bennett Warren
Will play: Brame, Dodson, Morris
This is the most sensible way of looking at it.My thoughts exactly. People are acting like we have Dan Marino on the bench.
No one expects Joey to be an AA, but I think his floor and ceiling is higher than if we had Nico this year. That said, if Heupel gets us to 9-3 or better, he’s done a hell of a job.
