Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

This cracks me up. It’s not the facilities or the coaches or the NIL collectives or the traditions. Nope, it was Adidas. This whole time that’s what we were missing. Hot damn!
In this case, "Adidas" and "NIL" are one in the same. The presumption is that as a signed Adidas athlete he will get more money at an Adidas school.

And is this allowed? As always, the answer is 🤷‍♂️

Situations aren’t that off. Both moved up from eastern Carolina schools, didn’t have many big time offers, and are going to QB wizards.
There's a huge difference between SEC defenses and the PAC 12 defenses, that Minshew played against. It was almost a lateral move for Minshew.

He also had 662 passing attempts at Washington State, under Mike Leach's coaching.Screenshot_20250817_233056_DuckDuckGo.jpg

The LSU fans are mad. Buddy should worry more about another 8-4 season 😂

Probably should worry about their own offense

Tennessee's offensive rankings under Heupel

2021 7th
2022 1st
2023 37th
2024 14th

LSUs offensive rankings during that same span

2021 80th
2022 24th
2023 1st
2024 47th

I think it's a reasonable comparison at this point.

The problem with it, and it's a serious problem, is that JG would not have been JG under Heupel.

2019 JG would have been better than Nico on the 2024 Vols. He could hit a deep ball. 2019-2020 Jim Chaney was the worst offensive coordinator we had in the entire decade of misery. The fact he was and maybe still is held in such high esteem irks me.
You must forget Larry Scott and Tyson Helton lol. Chaney had good and bad moments here, most of the good came in 2012 and most of the bar came in 2019/2020
