LSU fans are bad. I can't put them up there with UF & UGA though. I hate alabama, too, but their fans don't bother me too much.
Every SEC road game for pretty much every team in the league is an opportunity to lay an egg. If State starts 4-0 (possible, Arizona State at home) they'll be feeling big and we will be coming off the Georgia game 2 weeks prior.
I've been to both Athens and Baton Rouge. I put LSU fans higher, and I went as a neutral observer who was invited BY LSU fans. I didn't have many issues outside the stadium in Athens, there was one drunk dude at the game who got removed at behest of UGA fans who apologized to all the Vols fans in the section. But the stuff the LSU fans said and did, including the people who invited us who we'd never seen behave badly, was awful. Then when people noticed I wasn't an LSU fan despite also not wearing the opponents' colors they started at me too.
2001 sec title game we almost got in a fight with some idiot Lsu fans throwing sugar packets at an older vol fan in a wheel chair. That may have been the angriest I've ever been at opposing fans. Man me and a guy, we didn't even know each other, went after those idiots but couldn't get to him as they were up a.floor on a ramp above us. Its one thing to do it to me but to an old woman in a wheel chair just hit me all kinds of wrong.
Yeah Lsu fans are their own breed of stupid. BIL is a barner and I've been down there for an Lsu game and they are something to say the least. That with my prior experience at the sec title game and like I say, they are neck and neck with uga idiots. I think being around them down here helps give uga fans the edge in the idiot department.
I would've been over the limit on that one. I'd say you all weren't they only people that guy pissed off that day. I'd just about bet $ that someone got ahold of him at some point. Probably long overdue.
They gave him a 2 yard spot on 4th down in that game that cost us, we stopped him on that scramble. Didn't Compton come in guns a blazing and throw a long post for a td to meachem that game?
Where are you going exactly? My fiancee is from Rio. I’ve been there twice now. If that’s where you’re going you definitely have to check out Christ the Redeemer. It’s incredible at the top. You should also check out the Sugar load mountains. That’s another fun thing. Also, see if you can catch a Flamengo soccer game. Their games are sweet! Have fun! Brazil is a great country!
