Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Cox and Shuerholtz (sp) spoiled us Braves fans no doubt. You are right, that was the only thing we all had in common back then, we all loved the Braves and couldn't wait for baseball season. I graduated in 94 and I can tell you I didn't have one friend that was a uga fan, and the guys I played football with back then all wanted to go to Auburn, Clemson, gt, or Fsu, they recruited metro atlanta very well back then.........not to mention we got alot of highly rated kids ourselves from Georgia. Nobody back then wanted to go to Georgia and play football.
Got married Oct 10, 1992….Braves @ Pirates with Smoltz on mound In NL Championship.

Starting at 9, people would leave my reception go to Bar to catch the score and come back to drink some more. I left reception at 945 and people continued to drink till my free bar ended at 10 and they then moved to Waverly Hotel Bar. Did not see my guests leave but heard they were very intoxicated and happy with the Braves taking the series to 3-1…It was the only sports team talked about in Georgia back then.

I still hate the Florida team worse (it's close), but I hate the UGA fans by a lot more. Seeing a grown man wear a dog collar, crawl around on the ground, bark at people while chasing them, and believe they're so cool for it, just does something to really crank up my hate meter. I hate that someone can be so stupid and so proud of it at the same time
Yeah its some of the dumbest stuff I've ever seen. I've seen a college kid get knocked out and left laying in the street for barking in an older mans face in 2005. Guy was talking to his buddy and that kid shook a shaker in his face and started barking at him and that guy dropped him like it wasn't nothing. Kid hit the ground and those two guys walked off just as calm as can be. We walked around him just laying there. Nobody even acknowledged what happened as they stepped over him. Worse fans on the planet, although Lsu fans are a very close second.

Haha, i'd like to know what he  really thinks about it when he sees Neyland cranked up to 10. I've never been in Clemson for a game, but no chance it's anywhere near what Neyland does now.
I think he is going to be my future son in law so I will probably be able to compare it sometime in the future.

Ngl Oregon's class is pretty insane, especially for them.

They may only have 17 commitments so far, but 5 of them are 5*s and 10 more are 4*s. A 94.4 AVERAGE, well ahead of everyone else 😳

Being the golden boy of a major apparel brand comes with its benefits....now add to that the SEC appeal, regional talent, and fanbase...😎😎😎
SEC?

Hey, Enki.

I was looking for a certain gif and look what turned up at the top of the page: your handmade gif of pouting baby Will Levis. Or is that the gif you replaced or merged with his face? That was a primo night in the RF!

yeah, I used that reface app the night we caught him crying on the sidelines, 😂

I'm glad you were able to hang on to it all after the wedding. I think I remember seeing your setup a time or 2. Seems strategically feng shui'd to make it hard for someone to bother you 😂
Ha! My wife said no one would ever go down there when I first put it together.

Its my kids favorite room when they have kids over now and once we added a treadmill she will walk and watch tv at night.

Build it and they will come.....
