Zakai's dad.I was a student at Tennessee during that season. I knew both Mark Hovanic and Kelly Ziegler.
Both had the temperament of ‘roid rage. Not saying that they did anabolics, but they were definitely just one step away from violence. That’s the way you want your defensive front 7.
Kelly dated one of my fraternity’s little sisters. She was very sweet, a little naive, and absolutely gorgeous. During parties if she was there, she’d always get hit on. (She never really talked about her boyfriend). My favorite thing to do was to walk up behind the guy hitting on her and quietly whisper in his ear “you’re hitting on Kelly Ziegler’s girlfriend.” It was hilarious to watch the dude’s reaction and then the absolute fear that would overwhelm him. She really thought most of these guys were just being nice and talking to her…
My absolute favorite Zeigler story was at an offseason party at our frat house, football players would be bouncers for the alcohol. 99% of the time nothing happened so they got free drinks and we got to hang out with the football team. Well, one party this guy (no clue who he was) crashed the party, he was already drunk. He asked a young lady to dance, she said no. He grabbed her shoulder before she could walk away. She screamed Let me go! Before anyone else could react, Kelly was there behind him. Kelly grabbed him by his belt and neck and just threw him backwards over his head and over the back wall of our frat house patio. The guy bounced on the grass, drunkenly jumped up and ran off, never seen by us again. The drop was about 10 feet from patio level to ground. We asked Kelly if he knew how high the dropoff was? His response was: “who cares. He was causing trouble.”
The band started playing again and it was like nothing ever happened.![]()
Hopefully we absolutely drag there @!!!

From a glance at your post history, it seems you enjoy wallowing in the muck with us hot-heads as much as anyone. Reality is, you just dont like anyone pushing back on your bullsh!t. "QBing a team is more than just routes on air." That comment is the very definition of condescending. And, you have the nerve to call someone else that?!?!Nothing I said was condescending, much less directed as a personal affront. You’d have to literally be looking to be offended. I’ve never seen such a bunch of argumentative, conflict driven posters in my life.

*And he'll open it up to the public and charge 1 day admission for $225 and $195 for children.
Rant incoming:
"Real money" (like I make) doesn't compute in a multi millionaires world. I'm sure Danny has a good heart but the more $$$ a person has/makes, the farther away they get from the reality of what it's like to be middle class, or lower. The life long, local, middle class fans are being pushed out for the "fast pass" elitist crowd. It's been discussed on here a lot and I get it, "big money wins championships", but it's all fan driven in one way or another. The fans saying crap like "pay the man whatever he wants!" and "back up the Brinks truck!" are the ones that put us here. The ones that hung around through the bad times, is the crowd that's either going broke giving to the University now or they've had to quit going to games altogether. To be clear, I want us to be great and win championships. I'll always support the VOLS, I'm just going to do it from home for now.
End rant
Honestly it never even occurred to me to buy tickets. I dont enjoy the games live, unless its in the new big donor area....which I am not. Even then, its loud, time consuming, and hard to watch at times.#Soon
