Let’s hope the NCAA gets plastered on social media and realizes they actually need to hand down a harsher punishment.

The NCAA will never change. Change will only occur when it ceases to have authority over Power 5 athletics. The Blue Bloods that have it in their pockets and the NCAA bureacracy are doing everything in their power to prevent that.

My favorite thing at the NCAA hearing was when the NCAA attorney cited as evidence that Cornpone carried a huge amount of cash on him at all times. And Pruitt’s or UT’s attorney answered that Pruitt also did that at Alabama.

My best guess: Probably because they fall under federal jurisdiction. And/or the NCAA doesn’t have an area in their rule book that covers infractions of that nature.

My guess: because it is so huge it would cause death penalty talk. Michigan was stealing other teams’ practice videos.

Saban knew how to do it. Remember when he wouldn’t allow his players to watch film or playbook over their iPads? Because they could be hacked.

Now one of Michigan’s bruhs working the project apparently spent his downtime using the same method on the same Michigan equipment to look for sexy photos of female athletes. Per the last I read, it sounded like they were going to charge him for the few creeping events while ignoring everything football.

They were hacking players and stealing their credentials, I seem to recall. Also, iirc, there was some vulnerability in the Catapult system teams now use.

For those who were defending Thornton trashing the offense multiple times since being drafted. Take note. This is how you are supposed to represent your former university. Y’all know Hyatt was questioned about the route tree at least as much as Thornton was, but you don’t have a bunch of quotes from him running down the offense.
