Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Bull from Blue Chip breakdown has done a lot of videos on Aguilar. He has some bad habits we won't fix in a season. He can and should win us games if he keeps those bad habits to a minimum.
If we have a stout defense I think Heupel will unleash him. Let him sling it. I think Heupel is itching to generate consistent big plays again.

Hammering Michigan for multiple severe NCAA and Federal criminal violations; stripping their title; naming the UM President, AD, and Harbaugh; making Michigan forfeit all games in the years in question; publicly admitting that the CFP was compromised and promising no recurrence will ever be tolerated; holding the national media publicly accountable for censoring or deliberately ignoring the real issues (while making an intentionally distracting circus over the sideline signals); and giving Michigan twice the penalty (miminum) that the NCAA gave Tennessee. This would NOT hurt the reputation of college football and the CFP. That's a lie.

It would restore confidence in the CFP and college football.

Maybe. I see him repeating more of last season. Playing defensive minimizing risk and turnover points. We'll see because you aren't alone.
Similar results to last year, but hitting more of the deep passes, would be a huge improvement and would make the offense look far more explosive. I would think the deep passes are worth the risk.

In my clothing archives, I still have a Nike hat from 1995 in the first Nike deal. Then I have an Adidas hat from 1997 in the first Adidas deal. Think I’ll just keep hoarding the different brands to change them out every 10 years.
Nike wasn't the sponsor in 95

The Volunteers were originally partnered with Adidas from 1995-2014.

Michigan fans believe no hammer drop on Friday and they’ll just receive a slap on the wrist..
Really hope they get slammed, as there is so much they did that will not come into play on the decision... Everyone by now knows they flat cheated on several levels, let's hope they actually get punished with something that makes some noise and has negative repercussions on recruiting...

I would think they would. I’m eager to see if any evidence is found that South Carolina was involved with the scandal. If they did buy or receive any information from Stallions you just have to feel bad for Hendon. That injury might not had occurred..

i watched this game the other day when i had some time and all i could think was damn we are being undersold badly

even the way basilio, VQ, and alot of media talks just doesnt fit some of whats already on film. I understand he makes some mistakes but he gets talked about like he cant play at all and its just not true. In fact, hes VERY good on the move and with the deep ball. He had some talent around him in 2023 bc that RB played for Mizzou last yr if i recall.

This game was also his first true start and Hasselbeck complimented him alot throughout this game.
It’s because they are only hearing info from practice. I think Joey is a gamer and turns into a different person on the field. The competitive drive comes in. I can’t stand when coaches continue with practice warriors when they fall flat on game day. Hooker wasn’t very good to some because of practice. And Dobbs… And many others. Some hit a different gear once they are under the lights. I love finally seeing someone who will put the ball up for a receiver to grab and fight for. I got so sick of Nico and Joe passes that are overthrown or they have to be wide open for them to throw.

It's so obvious that the micro lamecocks were involved. The wrist bands, never used before or after, were (accidentally) featured on the national broadcast. The primary guy bought tickets in a (deliberately) perfect position to photograph our signs at our Kentucky game. We could prolly provide a photo of the dude Michigan sent to do it, if the NCAA wanted it.

But this is going to be a Bama-level, cheat-with-impunity NCAA and CFP coverup for Meatchicken.

Nailing Michigan would do a LOT to restore confidence in the way college football is run. But they will lie to themselves that "the reputation of football " compels them to cover it up "as much as they'd like to be honest, for once."

Michigan's larger sign, practice video, and playbook thieving (Federal crimes) appears to have been accomplished by hacking into other teams' internet sites. Saban knew it. The media, NCAA, and CFP coverup there is to focus exclusively on the same Michigan criminal also creeping on a few coeds, during his espionage coffee breaks, as it were. They have a small handful of instances of creeping to use (and stir up news about) -- and a thousand instances of interstate computer crimes and espionage (the main purpose and usage) that they are ignoring.

That is sad but true about Hendo. I've thought it several times. 😥
