Probably my only cool story bro, story. Our son is very close friends with Simpson family. Ty’s freshman season, he’s on unofficial visit to UT, it’s a home game against Florida. Cornbread is the coach Anyway we had gotten tickets from his work and were sitting 3-4 rows behind the recruits section. My son spots Ty’s mom and goes down to get her attention and she comes up to give him a hug. He asked about Ty and she said “they gave him co-ed to show him around and I don’t think he’s blinked since he saw her”

Wasn't comparing the two. Was just saying my opinion on that team. I think people don't actually pay attention to South Carolina and are expecting them to just maintain that level bc Sellars is there. They lost an entire NFL DL, MLB, safety, corner, etc. I also have to see Dylan Stewart do something beside rush the passer

Sellers will be improved and he has those legs that generate offense.

Remember Brad Smtih for Missou like 15 years ago maybe? He’s like that guy, and players like him always give your team a chance to win.

South Carolina did a good job of just letting him play and not over complicate the offense. And they have recruited close to our level the past 3 years. You have to like their chances to make the playoffs despite all the talent they lost on defense.

for those of you negas thinking 7-5 is really possible, do you expect Heupel’s seat to start getting warm then? Because it would be.

8-4 is the floor. 9-3 is what we’ll be. 10-2 the ceiling.

7-5 is absolutely possible and should not have his seat warm in the slightest, assuming our 2026 class stays together. 8-4 is definitely the most likely outcome for our season. I agree, that this team has the talent, ability, and coaching to get to 9 or 10 wins, but 7-5 is probably around the same odds, maybe even more likely than 10 wins, going off the Vegas odds.
