USCe went 9-3 last season and almost made the playoffs with a RS Fr QB. More dynamic than what we have back there but still. He threw for 250+ yards TWO times in the regular season (vs Mizzou and Wofford).

Their leading receiver was a TE followed by a true SO and true FR, then a RB.

NC out of the question but this squad can still be very successful.

No doubt this team can be very successful, I was just stating why I wouldn't expect the same result as last year despite a higher blue chip ratio

After that first game against Old Dominion o thought they were a 5 win team. They did improve greatly on offense and Defense carried them all year

Yeah I don't think people truly realize how good that defense was that they had and legit NFL talent at every single level

No matter what happens this fall, the football program is on as solid of footing as it's been in a couple of decades, and the overall AD is arguably as healthy as it's ever been. Some perspective is warranted.

My opinion: don’t think we have to have great qb play to be competitive enough to make playoffs. And in this system, find it hard to believe heupel wont be able to put an above average or good qb on the field, regardless of the jimmies and joes on roster. In fact, I would say he’s never had a season where he didn’t at least get above average play. And if we can’t get that, halzle might need to go.

I could easily see us going 8-4 with poor qb play, but my expectation is not too different a team from last year. Losing Sampson leadership not great, otherwise I like our guys. And if we have wide receiver injury bug then yeah we could definitely go less than 8-4 being one dimensional with poor qb play, but I’m optimistic these guys put it together enough by end of camp to have us looking at a 9-3 season or better.

Just a couple years ago we all agreed that no other coach could've gotten what Heupel did out of the '22 roster. The same coach didnt fall off, he went to the playoffs 2 years later.

Zero doubt in my mind that this will be a sound, tough team that will compete with pretty much any other team in the country. I've not been able to say that about our coach since around 2004ish.

Boo's mom actually did nothing wrong besides take a photo in her underwear. I suppose she was commenting on the ho-hum reaction of Vol fans over the Brazzell issue. If that's what it was , she is correct if it would've been Boo instead of Brazzell the fan reaction would've been "here we go again" ..

Dude, Josephs is a man! He’s gonna be a major problem off the edge this year. He was very productive last year, but he will be even better this year.

I’m going to laugh if the receivers and Aguilar figure it out and we have a great season. That’s really what we need to click as the season goes on and we could have another playoff run. It’s still fall camp and we’re getting people back healthy. Let’s see how we look game one and into game six before real judgement.

Are you sure? Seems like it would be better if we talk about coach hasn’t don’t anything impressive since year 2, going 7-5 this year and him being on the hot seat, and needing to make changes. Doesn’t that sound fun?

The practice reports have been brutal this year. Media gets limited time so they all report on who's missing and then routes on air. Would be nice if the media worked together and tried to cover different position groups in the short period of time they get.

The same media of which 90% know very little about football. A coach I know has repeatedly told me about the stupidity of most questions he has been asked by the media. Most coaches despise talking to media.

Took my kid to her first MLB game tonight. She got a foul ball and after the game we waited by the dugout and Jordan Beck and Chase Dollander were nice enough to come over. They helped make some lifelong memories.

For good reason. Brazzell hasn’t been drama and his mom hasn’t been all over social media acting a donkey. If Boo wasn’t surrounded by drama and he got into some trouble similar to Brazzell volnation would’ve responded in a similar way to how they responded to Brazzell
