I've decided to give y'all a second chance.

I'm losing all patience. I need Tennessee football, and I need it now. I'm an addict jonesing for a fix. And I'm tired of reading all the crap out there predicting us to have a down season. Meanwhile, I just read an article pumping up UCLA because of Nico. These beat writers are idiots. I wish I could meet some of them at the Papermill WH.

Year 1 we went 7-5, Years 2-4 we went a combined 30-9, with Year 4 being a playoff team. If that’s sad to watch, wtf in all the years from 2008-2021 we’re better to watch? Even if we were to go 7-5 this year, Heupel and his staff have singlehandedly brought a decaying program back to national prominence. There’s nothing sad about that.

Probably my only cool story bro, story. Our son is very close friends with Simpson family. Ty’s freshman season, he’s on unofficial visit to UT, it’s a home game against Florida. Cornbread is the coach😖 Anyway we had gotten tickets from his work and were sitting 3-4 rows behind the recruits section. My son spots Ty’s mom and goes down to get her attention and she comes up to give him a hug. He asked about Ty and she said “they gave him co-ed to show him around and I don’t think he’s blinked since he saw her”😂

Historically it’s been harder for younger kids to crack the rotation because we don’t sub and run choice routes so you have to know the full playbook and the route trees of choices to play. That’s just not going to work this year with us needing to play Jackson and Smith (and likely Boo) so will require tweaking the overall offense.

Matthews and Brazzell seem to be easing back into it but Staley can’t stay healthy which is scary.

It’s also just not in a great place right now. I have higher hopes for the potential of how it could play out than QB but the floor could get messy quick if people get hurt.

That’s kinda what i thought. If everything clicks and we get/stay mostly healthy they can be really good, but odds are somebody will get hurt, another won’t fully grasp the playbook, etc.

If they can stay healthy enough to be marginally better than last year (I wasn’t impressed by anyone’s physic ability last year besides Thornton who tapped out after every hit) maybe the athleticism will show up.

UCLA will win 5 games, Nico already saying he’s looking to go to the NFL after this year. Not team goals, no playoffs, but the NFL. Starting the think his Dad was pissed Heup didn’t recruit baby brother. Kid risked it all to play with his brother.

I’m not defending going after any parent, but she brings it on herself with what she posts sometimes.

Talking about “what did the Vols win last year” while her own son was on the team

Vol fans are prideful and will always stick up for their program. (Again I don’t think it’s right to go after the parents)
