We went to a gathering about two years ago and the host couple's wife had gotten on a huge rosemary kick where it had to be in everything. I bit into a bbq sandwich that had a long stem full of leaves on it. I hated not to eat it so I did out of respect. But I swear that next morning I shat a shrub!Outlier report. I had a stem or two of rosemary in a pasta sauce that I simmered all day. So much so that a couple of leaves must have fallen from the stem into the sauce when I removed the stems shortly before serving. I was surprised when I tasted a rosemary leaf (I didn't see it) in a bite and it was soft and the intensity of the taste had mellowed into something nice. But that was one of those sauces that simmered all day. (I added too much beef broth and wanted it to cook down (lose most of its water.)) A happy accident.
I tried eating it out of a garden when I was young, and found out what you said. I do like the look for plating. And I usually eat those ornaments (because they're good) but that one finds a spot at the edge of my plate.
It’s also an apples to oranges comparison. One other thing to consider. Babe's career batting average was .342. Ohtani's current career BA is .282. I realize it is a different game now, but that 60 points is still significant, IMO. If you want OBP, it is .474 to .373 in favor of George Herman Ruth. Both have been walked quite a bit.
We still have Joshua Josephs too. . .Maybe a hot take but I think they can at least be as good or better on defense.
More athletic and deeper at LB and secondary. DL may not be as good but as good as they were, that didn’t equate to high sack totals last year. If someone like Hobbs or Herring takes the next step, they may be just as good there as well.
They screwed Nico big time as well. I'd be so pissed if I was him. As far as I can tell, Heupel looked out for him like he was his own family, he was making a ton of $ and he was set up to potentially make another playoff run. They wiped out all of that for him. I don't think he even realized how bad he was getting screwed til the smoke settled.Thinking about our situation. What Nico's camp did, to his teammates. To the staff. Was absolutely bottom of the barrel
You're told you're the greatest everyday and everyone around is working to make your life easier. It's not hard to see why these athletes think they're above the lawI just don't understand how these dudes keep making these dumbass decisions...and it's everywhere....like do the majority of these athletes just not have common sense.?
The bigger issue is failure to appear. Seriously?? He could have gotten staffers to carry him to court on their shoulders if that's what it took.Do you want to wait, and pay to go so somewhere in someone's dirty car? Not saying its right, saying that's the mind of a college idiot.
Nico really didn't show enough last year to assume that he'd be the linchpin this year. We basically won in spite of him last year; not because of him. He didn't set a bar last year that we should expect will be out of range for our current QB roster--and we went to the playoffs with that anemic QB play (with a bad loss to Arky nonetheless).
I've seen nothing that indicates that bending a knee to Nico and his father's blackmail attempts would be worth the precedent and probable cultural issues that would have followed.
