Just a friendly reminder. It was the first fall scrimmage, and sounds like quite a few players were out. Aguilar’s first scrimmage with team. He will almost certainly get better.

How many of you knew that David Bowie got the first shot to write the lyrics to the song that became My Way, but his lyrics were rejected? Dejected, Bowie sat down on a piano and wrote Life on Mars which, if you have a keen ear, you can hear traces of My Way in. The original song was a French song I am pretty sure.

Okay Gents! I have booked my trip for Atlanta. Tickets, Hotels, and driver all on the books. Going with 3 college buddies from my days in Knoxville.

Now just needing a dope place to go after the game to watch football and have a few more brews.

Bowie also was a musical savant, stopping short of genius. I have no idea about Sinatra.

I like Sinatra but he is nowhere as enigmatic as Bowie in my mind. Watched a Bowie doc once. One of those boyhood musical genius types.

Also the creativity, inventiveness both from vocals to rythym, to beat, and lyrics. You can see or hear the perfectionism and escapism in the music.

I sure am looking forward to it.

I read an interview with Burns years ago as he was preparing for this documentary at how there's no video, audio, or photography he can access. It's all going to be what writings were preserved that are the basis for it and that presents an unique challenge. I hope he's able to pull it off and make another great documentary.

A few ints here and there can be offset with downfield success. No one wants our QB throwing multiple picks a game, but you can live with a few if he is also throwing long TDs. Depending on the situation, a deep pick is just like a punt anyways. No one wants to see our WRs running open and then not given a chance to make a play. Let’s just hope our QB’s pocket presents are for the good guys.
