One of the reasons I like it. Give me the Macallan any day, over anything else; but, I like that Lagavulin is much different, like the other end of the spectrum.

And right there in between is Highland Park. Well, a bit more to the smoky, peaty side but not as medicinal as Lagavulin or some of those other Islays (although those are great too) and with a great and interesting flavor profile.

I enjoy it. Like Glenallachie, though, I've only had a few swigs of it over the years. I usually stick with Macallan/Glenfiddich/Glenlivet, then the Lagavulin if I'm in a smoky mood, or the Vols lose.

My super-dumb dog got sprayed by a skunk in my backyard. It's wild how much different the actual spray smells compared to a skunk's odor from a distance. Nauseating. Smells like some sort of bad diesel or kerosene fuel or something.

We had a dog get hit about 8-9 years ago. The smell permeated the whole house for weeks after.

I used baking soda, peroxide and dish soap. He still smells horrible.

So you don't buy in to the narrative that other teams have figured us out?

There is no figuring it out. Heup forces teams to cover the entire field. He makes it hard to hide blitzes and makes defenses choose to play man and load the box to stop the run or go with a light box and use a deep zone to stop the deep passing game.
It is not like we haven't had a myriad of opportunities for big plays the last two seasons, its just that the guy pulling the trigger hasn't delivered. I have sat in the stands the past two years and seen wide open receivers all over the field, just not seen or seen too late. It is not as easy to spot on tv because they use such tight camera shots (I think that it has gotten even tighter in recent years, sometimes you can't see the freaking slot receiver) they don't show the whole field'
Bottom line is, the past two seasons we have been limited in play calling and have had qbs that don't execute.

Putting stock in 15 minutes of practice reports watching warm ups and routes on air is a fool’s errand

I'm just hoping we don't look as pathetic as we did at many times last year. Please lord, complete some passes over the middle as well.

The volleyball player is gone.

I hope the coaching staff has learned a lesson from that experience. SEC QB cannot have a slim delicate frame that suits a non contact sport like volleyball. Should not evaluate 7 on 7 performances instead of full contact performances.

We have two QBs that look physically big enough to play in the SEC . The 3rd QB is a true freshman and can add weight to his frame. He needs 30 lbs of muscle to be able to survive the season grind of the SEC. He should be drinking a protein shake whenever he’s not actively participating in a play. Heck, I would have him wear a Camel pack filled with protein shakes and drink continuously.
