Umm, my opinion is that after Methuselah that the Lord put a time limit on us. Methuselah lived for over 900 years, I believe.

In med school we were shown research that by age 90 that 100% of men have prostate cancer and 100% of women have uterine cancer (if they still have their uterus). To me that sounds like a way to eliminate the possibility of 150+ year old humans.

Is the opportunity to store your consciousness in a computer?

I just don’t see how eternal humans would not end badly. Think of a 1,000 years of biden, trump, putin, etc. that would truly be an apocalyptic future and likely end in global destruction.

And just remember, I am an extremely optimistic person! 😳
Damn, none of this conversation sounds good for my long-term social security o_O o_O o_O o_O

Consistent with what guys have been saying this summer when discussing QBs. Its Merk and Aguilar. GMac has probably intended from Day 0 to redshirt anyway to develop his game and body.

Honestly I think Heupel has managed the QB room perfectly on paper since he's been here. Maybe the lone exception being Milton over Hooker in Game 1. But he's never flipflopped on a development plan.

Hooker (GR) start - develop Milton
Hooker (GR) start - develop Milton and Jackson
Milton (GR) start - develop Nico (Jackson leaves)
Nico (RS-F) start - develop Merk
*Nico leaves before Merk was supposed to be ready*
Aguilar (GR) probably start - develop Merk and GMac

On paper, that's textbook management. Now, its hard to know how it plays out. I think next season looks like Merk (RS-S) starts - GMac and Brandon develop. But after that its hard to say if Merk will still be better than a RS-S GMac or a RS-F Brandon.

The hate from the media could be the best thing to happen to this team. Looks like they took training seriously.
I love how underrated we are. Loveeee being picked 9th.

The media, opposing fans and several of our 8-4 fans don't realize that we are elite now.

We are likely going to remind everyone of that fact when we absolutely demolish Syracuse in week 1 just like we do to ACC teams.

Aguilar got some numbers y'all...notice Nico is below the line.

Basically, Nico took decent care of the ball. He has a lower percentage of plays with EPA <=-1, but he did not create as many plays with EPA >= 1. Joey has been a more explosive play producer than Nico, but he has also had more snaps which helps.

I see Hood is at Star..wonder if he goes to CB once Boo resumes, and if he will be a swing player till McCoy returns.
I think he will be the first back up to star and one of the corners. So playing starting minutes but across 2 positions. This the, what did heupel call it, position flexibility? He was a full time corner last year and listed at star this year, so plenty of potential to make a big impact.

Horrible for anyone younger than late Gen X, because at this rate already, the only way most of anyone born after 1985 is going to get ahead is through inheritance.... if we stop letting people die the older generations, who are really benefitting from the present economy and who hold the vast majority of the wealth, are going to keep holding the wealth.

Gen X, Silent Generation, and Baby Boomers are 45% of the population but hold 92% of the wealth. That ish ain't tricklin' if folks ain't pinin' for the fjords.

Edit: also, imo cancer is more prevalent now because we stopped dying of everything else. I think by 1860 like 90% of people didn't see 35. Cancer is an inevitability regardless of how healthy you've lived simply because your body can't keep up with the pace of destroying cells that aren't working right.
