Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

You just know that on July 6, 1962, somebody/somewhere said, "The Sound and the Fury was a piece of sh!t." And someone nearby, who heard it, thought, "...victory is an illusion of philosophers and fools".

I haven't given much thought to most philosophy in 20 years, so I can't speak properly of it; but, I do have a question. What if you're a fool, newt?

Loved, The Cracks That Held, btw. Ordered, Day Moon Howl, before I was finished. Congratulations on taking a sh!t all over a fan.
Pro wrestling compared to Faulkner? Really?

If heupel can close this class with hiter, gray, keys, moa/wyatt…

Top 3-5 class. That would be a huge breakthrough on the recruiting front.
Hiter and flipping Keys are the key to the rest of this class. Grey, Moa, and Wyatt would all be great additions, but getting that stud RB and stud WR to pair with the stud QB, that's the key.

The coaches have no one to blame but themselves. We are left with 76 scholarships filled this year if Boo really is gone, when our cap is 82 including the ncaa violations. It truly doesn’t make sense. People will be like “oh we didn’t want to pay starter money for someone who wasn’t gonna be a starter” well that’s just the recruiting world we live in now, and if that’s what all the other National Championship contenders are doing, then we should too. And we could’ve targeted more hs players as well to fill the depth voids
If this is correct does that mean we complete our penalty in full which otherwise runs through 2028?

I know, it seems to be tough to get there. To explain...

Whenever Hulk Hogan slammed Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 3, I was 10 years old. Superman had just defeated Darkseid...except it had happened in live-action, right before my eyes. To add to it, Superman and Darkseid had once been the best of friends; that is until Darkseid betrayed Superman...again, in live-action, right before my eyes. It was the most magical thing I had ever seen, read, or experienced...and, it took place in front of 90,000 people.

So, I take that experience; and, I consider how I felt the first time I read, As I Lay Dying, in high school. While affected immensely, and left realizing I had just read something unlike anything else I had ever opened, becoming an addict to all things Faulkner at 16, so much so that i read all of Faulkner's words, the first time, at 16 years old...it didn't even come close to the emotion of the comic book i had saw come alive whenever I was 7-12.

No, but this was just very far afield, I thought.
Maybe. I mean, my brother and I enjoy sitting lakeside listening to karaoke. It's a right of passage. There are some good ones. Annd some not so good ones.

Its too damn early to have a point.

Maybe if that dude rolled up in a tux, not dressed like he's at Dollywood things would be different.

It was a very good performance.
