I hadn’t considered that players could just leave at any time and enroll or walk on at another school. That could ruin college sports as we know them.

Part of the reason I think the coaches support the removal of walk-ons....you'd have a hard cap for total roster spots and profit sharing/scholarships distributed based on that.

Pretty widely reported how Joey Swaguilar is integrating well with the team and really putting his head down going to work.
I'd trust our sources about his time here over a whatever Deshaun Foster says. After all, he wanted Nico after all of that baggage... not a great judge of character.

He would be able to walk on somewhere - Miami just had someone do that from Wisconsin, same thing with the BYU QB to Tulane. Just can’t go to an SEC school

Yeah, and even if NCAA passes their rule change it's not gonna be possible to implement this season.

Sucks he wasted a Spring practice on scholarship when staff could have used the spot for another portal add though.

Idk anywhere that has writers that straight up protect their program. Even Georgia doesn’t really have that. Alabama did with Saban there, we’ll see if it lasts. They definitely didn’t before he got there.

Uga has it. The only one to ever go against them was in Atlanta with the ajc and I believe he was pressured into a retraction and let go. That was when uga had kids getting away with rape and murder without it having any real ramifications.
