I was never that impressed with Nico tbh. I think a lot of fans felt that way but just didn’t want to admit it at the time because he was our QB and we paid him a lot of money to come here. But I never quite got the “hype” with him. He has the potential to be a very good QB but I never really saw it while he was here. He had flashes here and there but he wasn’t the player many of us thought he’d be. He was an average QB and that’s it. But I don’t dislike the kid. Truth be told, I don’t think he’s a bad kid. He just has some really toxic, controlling people around him that he listens to.

I thought he was good for a rs fr. I don't think he was better than avg last year, but I think he would've become a good QB here if he stayed. I think he would've looked much better with a 2nd and potentially 3rd year in the same system here than he will starting over at a valu-time program.

I think its the laid back demeanor. He seems much more confident to me. But then ive not watched a ton of interviews with him.

Dude should have played baseball with that demeanor. Hell dude would be crazy to hit against with that length and size.

Not a Sankey fan at all. Don’t like how he acts so confrontational, entitled and quite frankly arrogant in his tone when talking about the playoff and other things around college football. However, this tweet was a good one. The Big Ten and ACC seemed to mention the SEC a lot at their media days.
