I disagree, he's smiling and seems relaxed. I think he will be successful, wherever. He has the talent. That said. Boo leaving will have bigger impact, bc he is talented. And, bc we cant replace him right now.I honestly think he didn’t want to leave, and if he had it to do over again he wouldn’t have left

Like ive beaten into the ground. DB and WR recruiting get to where it can be, wgas about this deal.
Not sure you can expect the coaches to keep something quiet in a locker room of 80+ players and dozens of support staff that all have social media accounts. If something is going on, it is going to get out. Heck, Basilio and his ilk probably get their info from the laundry guys.I do not want to be starting supposed-to-be backups and freshmen across the back end of the defense. Just like I didn’t want us to exit spring practice and lose our would-be starting qb.
Player-led teams are great, but really wish Heupel would step in and get it handled. Wanted the same with Nico. It should never get to the point where it becomes a public matter. The best head coaches understand this. You don’t hear about what goes on and it gets handled internally, and if you do hear about it it’s because a final decision was made. This is where the head coach needs to put on his manager hat and get it taken care of, before it becomes a public media fiasco, in my opinion.
Talent and ego management is a part of any team that has it.
I'm not sure he'll be successful wherever. It could be a long year for him at UCLA. But, that's one thing that makes the ucomming season intriguing. As for Boo, still hoping he stays. But if he truly is a big distraction to the culture, no choice but to move on. Not being an insider, trust in Heupel whatever goes down at this point.I disagree, he's smiling and seems relaxed. I was never that impressed with Nico tbh. I think a lot of fans felt that way but just didn’t want to admit it at the time because he was our QB and we paid him a lot of money to come here. But I never quite got the “hype” with him. He has the potential to be a very good QB but I never really saw it while he was here. He had flashes here and there but he wasn’t the player many of us thought he’d be. He was an average QB and that’s it. But I don’t dislike the kid. Truth be told, I don’t think he’s a bad kid. He just has some really toxic, controlling people around him that he listens to.I disagree, he's smiling and seems relaxed. I think he will be successful, wherever. He has the talent. That said. Uh oh. Lloyd knows the way to Newt’s heart. So it's intentional. Will file that away.

Of all the takes I’ve seen on here…. Swain is the least overreacting of the whole bunch. Think you mean Erik Ainge? Also Swain actually played here at high level and literally works around the football program with the Vol Network…..I mean what? Not saying that’s not true, but people more in the know have suggested it’s not. Swain is not in the know and he’s an overreacter to everything. He only gets clout because he’s a former player. He’s like our version of Greg McElroy, but without as many twitter followers.
does Ainge still do a show ? - havent heard his name in awhileOf all the takes I’ve seen on here…. Swain is the least overreacting of the whole bunch. Think you mean Erik Ainge? Maybe they were trying to keep it in house as it should’ve been, so that now there’s not so much pressure to kick him off the team. Guarantee this would’ve been handled internal 20 years ago.Anyone else notice how VQ didn’t start talking about the boo Carter situation until they were asked about it after Tony Basillo broke the story?
