Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I trust CJH to handle this correctly with minimum damage to the brand. The culture he has created will be consistent and if necessary POWER T will be protected. He will do what he does with class. Beginning to look like another young man taking bad advice.

Sadly the biggest damage might be the fodder our posting and calling friends provide with unnecessary caustic attacks. Equal poor judgement has no value add to the program. Application of the everybody has them clause does not really help.
If it’s true this Cooper guy is involved then he’s just going to try to cash in on Boo and leave him hanging. If he’s going out to Cali he should ask Nico to show him the difference between the size of checks he sees now vs what he was getting.

Apparently swain just said on his show boo mom called out the staff on instagram reply
Someone said maybe it’s a coaching problem when referring to Nico leaving and now boos trouble and she said finally someone said it

See ya boo
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out
The writing has been on the wall with this guy since December. Any time there’s this must smoke there is always some fire. Time to cut bait and move on with players that adhere to a standard. He’s simply not worth the trouble.

Disagree. We don’t have the depth at DB or WR (he is backup slot) to afford this loss. And that’s ebfore any injuries in fall camp or the season. We can’t afford any injuries or losses in the DB or WR rooms. They are razor thin.

I don't think this affects us very much if at all on offense. We don't know what we were going to see out of Boo on that side of the ball and I don't think you can count that as a loss, if indeed for some reason he's not on the team this season. (which I'm not convinced will be the case) On defense, of course it has an impact but at least we have Hood who can play Star.

Yes we deserve stability and the staff deserves to keep things internal. It feels way over blown.
I don't think it's overblown. I think the fans are getting tired of this pre-madonna stuff from the same player over and over. It'll get to the point where it's a relief when a player like this leaves.

Absolutely and it sounds like team leaders are tired of his crap as well. Losing a locker room will be 100 times worse than losing Boo freaking Carter. If half what is being reported is true you simply have to move on. Especially on the heels of the Nico nonsense.

Offense won’t be much. But I would bet on him housing 1-3 during the season at punt returner. And on defense he gets turnovers and makes plays. Biggest jump is year one to two. He is going to be lockdown this year if he plays. It’s a massive loss if he is gone. Hood, McMurray, or Gibson get hurt and we are in big trouble.

We need the defense to be as close to full health as we will lean on them again this year especially beginning the season when Aguilar needs time with the receivers to gel.

Hope Boo comes to his senses and returns hat in hand, but sudden changes in humility don’t happen often.

All this unstructured chaos really has me losing my love of the game.

There were problematic teammates well before nil and portal were a thing. Guess they couldn’t leave as easy but these aren’t new things.

Thus, the importance of recruiting to 'culture' as well as looking at star ratings. I assume that schools like Colorodo or U. of Miss don't concern themselves with culture as much.

This (if accurate) is incredibly self-destructive on Boo's part.

Heup has had to deal with so much garbage this off-season. I trust his instincts.

Nothing I can do about it. I don't feel like hanging on every detail (not knowing which are accurate) as more emerges. I'm just going to wait for the smoke to clear and see in retrospect what further has happened.

It appears that Boo is making the staff's decision for them. You cannot have a player like that in your locker room.

I'm sure Majors and Fulmer had their problems from a few players during their tenure as HC. Only difference is Social Media makes it three times as bad.

The constant I heard blah, blah, blah. Then this person says I heard blah, blah, blah. Way more of a headache now I would assume.
