Pink Floyd (Division Bell 1994 in Miami) was the best concert (minus KISS) that I have ever seen............I gotta go Floyd!

Zeppelin all day, Jimmy Paige is a goat. I do like Floyd more than I ever have now, but still Zeppelin by alot.........probably not a popular opinion, I know. For me Zeppelin is right behind Allman Bros and Alice in Chains on my top 5.

Zeppelin is the best band of all time. ACDC is the greatest rock band of all time. Zeppelin could play any genre of music. Nobody did rock and roll like Angus and Bon.

So The Final Cut sucks? It's still a Pink Floyd album although it sort of seems more like a Roger Waters solo album. It would still be his best solo album. It might be my favorite Pink Floyd record. I'll agree that Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell didn't live up to the previous standards. There were highlights though, mostly from Rick Wright.

What did they borrow? Blues werent exactly jumping out of the River Thames. LOL. Classically trained musicians who wrote, not re route. Carved the path for all subsequent rock and roll bands. Bonham taught it, because he and John Paul ****ing made it.

Was there ever a riff from Page that wasnt perfect for that time and place? His inner tumult felt through the strings.

Dont even get me started on the Lotr corollary.

With the exception of John Paul Jones, no one was classically trained and they were heavily influenced by the early blues artists. They definitely made some major modifications to old blues tunes. To say they played old blues is like saying Heup 's offense is the wishbone.

Admittedly I make the ocassional jump to Clapton and classics, Crowes, or Zepp. Maybe some Yasin Bey or Hip Hop. Usually a Christian music listener, or bluegrass.

Bluegrass is, and will always be my first love. Blue Highway or Hot Rize.

Like him or not, Roger leaving Floyd was the end. It's a shame their differences keep them from playing and touring with a couple exceptions.

I'm excited to Brit Floyd again in Knoxville in a few weeks. They are great!

And sound better than Roger or David at this point.

Nowadays, who has time to pursue such things? Mortgages, retirements, family obligations, the makes-me-work.

Truth is, IQ doesn't care about how one butchers human language. Some of smartest people I know make English sound like mish mash.
