Yep. It has a bit longer of a front end too, maybe it's shorter. . . one of them is longer, . Other than that they look nearly identical, outside of the colors. These were the first cars to have the bumper tucked in under the front, aka "spoiler".

There is a Cale Yarborough Special in the east Tennessee area too, but I don't think it's a rare as this one. . . but still a very rare car.

This is why I think Tennessee could really surprise people this year. Folks are acting like we are going to experience some big drop off in QB play because of the loss of Nico. They’re comparing what they think our QB will do this year with what folks thought Nico would do this year. That’s not the comparison. We made the playoff with Nico‘s poor performance in 2024 and if our QB play this year is merely as good as Nico’s was last year, with this schedule, we have a good chance to make the playoff again. But I think QB play can be very much improved.

Story time..... With @TN-POSSUM

After high school, I started hanging out at the Eddie's Auto in Fountain City. (There was another Eddie's Auto on Hwy 33 in Maynardville but I'm still not 100% sure which one John Bean called.) Anyways, the Eddie in Fountain City was hilarious. I'd go in and sit at the counter and watch him interact with the public and his buddies. We talked quite a bit, after he got used to me hanging around. I went in one day and he had a table leg with an 8 ball screwed to the top of it laying on the counter. I asked him if he had some trouble come in and he said "PJ Clapp and his smart 🫏 buddies were in there aggravating him". He said "one of them was acting like a Russian wanting to get gas from him and he wouldn't leave, so I bout knocked his teeth out." (He used a lot more colorful language). Eddie said "after I got him out of here, Clapp came in laughing and told me they were going to put me on TV". I said "do you know PJ Clapp?" and he said "yeah, I know his daddy and he ain't got no sense either." "They bought up about all my t-shirts and left".


*PJ Clapp is Johnny Knoxville. I had just missed them filming for an episode of Jack***.

I bought a few shirts from Eddie while I was hanging out there but he gave me this one. I wish I would have got him to sign it. He was one of Knoxville's finest.

John Bean based his accent/character on Maynardville so my guess is that's the one he called but that's just a guess (could be just that was the voice for his own character).. Betty Bean wrote an article on it years ago.

I look at per recruit average. Not just total points. We have 21 commits they have 13. But our per recruit average is 90.36. SCs is 91.23. I think it’s BS because they dropped some of our guys.

I think so but I'm talking about the character. I wish I remembered the details of her article better but it's been long enough to make me feel old just thinking about how long ago I read it.

Btw i'm not sure there's a noticeable different between a Corryton, Maynardvuhl, er Knoxville accent. Could also be thats just the way Sid talked.

Well you didnt specify that dear.

Either way, the gamecocks are nothing near our program. Our overall offensive recruiting is, offensive.
