PossiblyI think having 4 of his 5 startling OL injured and 2 of his 3 starting WR didn't help much either lol. I think he'll look much better at AU
Lol... that's crazy talk.Make sure you wait til winter to wear it, right @TN-POSSUM ?![]()
So you don't think Jimmy Page was perfectly capable of writing his own guitar riff? He borrowed. Heavily. Most artists do. Heck most artists today sample other artists straight off. They just take it note for note and use it. That's how the music industry has always worked. We accomplish what we accomplish on the backs of those who went before us. The Beatles stole too! Everyone steals. Much of what he stole he did give credit for but I'll accept the argument that it wasn't nearly enough. Robert was doing some of that thievery too though with his lyrics. I'm telling you the best musicians steal but they also put enough of their own spin on it to make it something altogether new.
That would be smart. I do have a navy, fleece jacket in my truck, just in case of a blizzard/below zero temps and it's bright sunny conditions.Hope I have a black shirt with me if I ever get caught in a blizzard. . . I may just pack a black shirt in my bug-out/survival bag or keep a couple behind the seat in my truck, just in case. . .

Laugh all you want but check out this feat of strength.
View attachment 757053I took this pic on July 7th at 3:30 pm. I was on the roof of a hospital in the Knoxville. It was sunny and 93 degrees. I had to lean on it to repair a camera on the side of the building. I laid my hand on the metal cap, took a picture, and sent it to my wife. We've been arguing about painting our black patio furniture. I want to paint it light gray so we could at least touch it during daylight hours, but she doesn't. So we don't even use it because it's like touching a stove eye. AND before you say it, I refuse to "put a wet rag on it".
I'm really not. All I was trying to do was contrast two guitarists, both of which I love, and talk about how different they really are.I love Zep, but I do think their "borrowing" of others musical ideas was more egregious than most.
Page is obviously a guitar God. It just seemed like you were drawing a pretty hard line in the sand that wasn't altogether correct.
In the Floyd vs Zeppelin debate I am admittedly on team Floyd. I also hadn't heard much about Gilmour ripping others off in the studio.
