In the rule book is says sudden move to provoke movement. Lunges attempting to make on jump. I agree it sucks, but looking at the rule it does not stop lineman from moving along the front and linebackers and corners can still fake runs just don’t get all the way to the LOS. I can’t believe coaches didn’t raise cain over this ruling though. Leaves it open for refs to screw up big time. And good grief why do they also try to limit defenses. GBO

The offense KNOWS when the ball is to be snapped. Whatever the Defense does should be inconsequential. Implementation of this rule is a detriment to the game which has been played for decades.

This crap is akin to having a micromanaging boss.

Have to wonder which teams will benefit from this rule when about to be upset late in the game.

Auburn's problem is that they are in the same state as Alabama and that state has limited resources. Same problem South Carolina finds themselves in with Clemson. A lot of these companies investing in college football now aren't alumni of these schools. They see business opportunities. Auburn has the Yellawood guy but where is the money for Hugh's 2026 recruiting class? They aren't even top 50! That wallet must have closed up. I don't believe the diversions that only Auburn is playing by the rules and everyone else's NIL deals will get nulled. Reeks of excuses for not having the $ to compete.

Hit a stupid deer last night coming home from church and jacked up my front end pretty good, just ruined my plate too. Sucks. These things are everywhere down here, you see them all times of the day, not just dawn and dusk.

Drink wants everybody to get a participation trophy. It never needs to go beyond 16. I think 8 is actually the best number. But you water it down considerably with any higher number than 16. Nobody is ever satisfied until they keep screwing with things so much they ruin what they had. GBO
