I think having 4 of his 5 startling OL injured and 2 of his 3 starting WR didn't help much either lol. I think he'll look much better at AU

My irritation isnt about the rule itself. More that, SEC and powers keep finding things that DON'T need fixing. There was nothing wrong here. Like our own Government, State and local, keep fixing tiny things to justify their existence. Meanwhile, issues that really have a negative impact on the game.

That is NOT a great sign if you are an Auburn fan. I still can't believe Auburn fans talked themselves into Jackson Arnold. Who did they beat out for him?

I think it was a combination of OU's coaches and our defense. They didnt have him prepared, they didn't have any OL, they pulled the plug too soon and probably didn't have the right plays for him either. OU has bungled a couple QB's now. No doubt Venables is on his way out.

Dude had literally the worst injury situation for his OL in history and one of the hardest strength of schedules in the country, he's much better than his freshman year would indicate.

Mccoy and Gibson, along with defensive line, & RB room. Were and HAVE been the strength of our team.

How is a first round draft pick, not good enough?

Did you watch 2022? Compare that with 23 and 24. Did you see our WR's? Did they look good to you?

Tennessee has to keep stacking talent. Closed a lot of the gap between UF. Beat bammer a few times as well. Play better on the road and win more recruiting battles. Good job to Heupel

Heupel legitimately inherited a 10-year project to go from SEC gutter to elite.

He has restocked the roster according to our current place in the CFB pecking order and our natural recruiting grounds. Many coaches and ADs would be satisfied with that.

But we can still move up another tier based on wins and brand recognition. That's part two of the project. It's probably twice as hard as what he has done already, but I think he can and will do it.

Unlike the UGAs and UFs of the world, we can't just stock an elite roster in 3-4 years. Especially not with how far down we were when Heupel took over. The whole program had to be overhauled first in order to even give us a chance to break through to that next level of recruiting.
