Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

You should have left them off because it kills your take.
I’m unconcerned of how posters view my “take.” The offense issues and defense issues can coexist. Arky qb had one of his best completion %’s and rating of the season against us and would have been worse had he not been injured as he picked us apart. Only Ms St and Pine Bluff were better games for Green and only one game did he have a higher completion %.

I'm sure you wear defiantly ignorant well.

Try to stick with data and away from personal shots unless you want to put your name behind them. Doesn’t take much guts to call someone ignorant hiding behind a keyboard.
Yeah, I would have a problem saying it to your face. Stick with horrible takes and kill it with the what would happen if we both weren't 'hiding behind a keyboard'. I doubt much would be different

U r pretty emotional because I pointed out arky qb had one of his best games of the year against us. If you think he had a bad day and we held him in check, support your stance.
Otherwise, eat a snickers.
Fact is the last 2 years Banks defense does generally fine against inferior comp but gave up 75% completion rate and 60% 3rd down conversions in 6 losses to Ga (2), Arky, UF, Mizzou and OSU, which is not elite. Far from it.

Well, the new thread has gone to chit
But eyes here for it

I’m discussing football and what happened on the field. I can’t be the only one who understands what 6,7,8,9 and even 10 minute drives does to the defense, sideline and offense as they sit and get 4 possessions in a half.

And doing an outstanding job I might add
No better place for it than the recruiting port hole
Keep up the good work

Would you say Chip Kelly is a good OC?

Last year his offense - which was dominant - fell apart in some games.

Scored a putrid 21 points vs NEB. Mustered only 20 vs PSU. Was completely dominated by Michigan and scored 10.

Chip Kelly just can’t get it done every single game. I bet OSU is happy he’s gone!
No one gets it done every game. However in the case of Banks, his defense conveniently fell apart in every game where the defensive line wasn't dominant on every snap. I watch other teams have a secondary that is capable of compensating for lack of pressure but I can't say I've ever seen that here one time in the Heupel era.

Kevin Steele was an elite DC too. Right up until he got fired in his very first season without RG on his staff.
