With the link to dementia and I had started struggling a little with memory, I stopped it. My doctor scared me into it. My cholesterol was a little over 200 but was that when I was 18 and playing 3 sports and in the best shape ever. Plus my mom had the same issue and she’s 82. My BP is great with me in late 50’s. Since stopping, my memory is doing better. I may die with a heart issue but would rather have it then to deal with dementiaI am in the same boat and my cholesterol is likely a genetic issue. I have worked for a couple years now to see if diet, exercise, and various supplements might help. Went for my annual checkup today in fact. If my blood work still shows my LDL in the 145 range my doc is recommending that we start on a prescription. So be it if it leads me to a longer happy life.
Our team is going to be really good this year. GMac, while talented, is not our best option at QB this year. Redshirting allows 4 regular season games plus all postseason games. He’ll have plenty opportunity to get reps, but he won’t start.Maybe, but in today's world play the studs or they walk, and IMO if he doesn't get an edge on knowing the offense he legit risks being passed by Faizon. Play him more than the 3 (or whatever) measly games a redshirt allows.
