Geography still matters some. NIL with good local players help. Arkansas is not a talent rich state. Have to compete with all the Texas schools.

Arkansas can lock down their state and has the NIL *potential* to outpay Mizzou, both Oklahoma schools, both Kansas schools, Nebraska, and get their share of Louisiana and Texas players.

The trouble is overcoming the stinginess of Wall family and Tyson. But I think the right coach would get them to pony up....

And that coach just might happen to be very bad at driving motorcycles *vroom vroom*

I've seen enough years of playing terrible on the road that it's a pretty rational fear....we looked horrific and it wasn't even all that hostile.

I still think there's something Heupel needs to change in the road game routine.

Lea is a good defensive mind, with a nice scheme so of course they are better than typical Candy. They have a nice WR and a pro at TE. Elite teams should still boat race them with ease though. Imagine Jordan Matthews trying to cover Brazzell or MM lulz

Well, elite teams are decided by what happens on the field.

I would say they have played a team that is more talented than them on paper by a significant margin, and they beat that team by 24 on the road.
