People need to realize two things about Auburn.

1) They are as physical running the ball as anyone in the country

2) They have maybe the best offensive mind in the college game pulling the strings.

People think it's a gimmick offense but they're runners aren't being touched early on a lot of plays.

IMO, it isn't that difficult. He has a good OL, a talented RB, and a QB who makes good decisions and will burn you in the run. If a team has a good DL, they can disrupt the run game and force Marshall to throw. If you do that, you can beat Auburn.

I think Auburn wins by several TDs tomorrow. Most teams that played Mizzou got down early and abandoned the run game. It's clear Malzahn will not do that. Mizzou has an athletic DL, but I don't think they will be able to handle the four quarter pounding they are about to take tomorrow. Auburn will expose their DL for the overachievers that they are.

Couple that with Auburn's explosive special teams play, and I think this will be a 42-28 type of ball game.

Saw a stat where mizz only has 3 player's in their two deep that are espn 300 recruits. Either they're coaching them up very well or really good at evaluating lower ranked players. I figured their current success would help them in recruiting but their class is ranked dead last in the sec. They're class is ranked 33rd overall which isn't terrible but I thought it'd be a little better than that. Crazy all 14 sec teams are ranked in the top 33. I'm curious if the worst class in the sec has ever been higher than 33 before.

Just a Random thought but do y'all think some of these teams that run the spread will take a long look at auburn's offense this off season and start to use some or maybe a lot of the plays they run? Or would that be something that you'd have to commit fully to bc of all the different formations and different things you can do from those different looks?

More power to them if they can win year in and year out with that kind of recruiting. For my part, I prefer what Butch is doing.

Did anyone see the short Tecmo Bowl video someone made of the ending to the iron bowl they showed on cfb daily or one of those shows today? Funny stuff. That was the best dang game ever made! My thumbs used to get sore from playing it so much lol.

Tecmo Super Bowl > Tecmo Bowl

They have a system. They get guys who will grow into what they want. Their system works. I knew that as their talent increased their success would follow. Didn’t figure it’d be this fast, but I knew there are 2-star and 3-star players they coached up all over the NFL.

Lots of teams do run it. Lots of teams don’t have Auburn’s talent. Somehow, everybody has forgotten about what AU looked like the year after Cam Newton. And this year they can’t throw to save their lives.

They can run it, though. They can run it pretty okay.

Offensive Line for next year?

"Crowder at center for sure.

I would say Weisman who played a little at a guard spot. Marcus Jackson, who didn't play but has starting experience from previous years would be the other guard.

The challenge is going to be at tackle. Blair is a guy you would expect to be a tackle. Then Kerbyson would get the first crack after a tackle spot."

He didn't read where I stated they are probably the most physical team running the ball in the country. Ask Saban how it feels to give up 296 yards on the ground to Auburn. Tre Mason was getting to the safeties on the regular.

Bama's defensive line is not as good as it has been. They are not dominant. Heck, we rushed for 127 yards and were playing catch-up all game. Neil had 70 yards on 13 carries- 5.4 average. I think Bama fans will tell you they have to get better on the DL. JMO.

By the way, Bama had Auburn beat. Just kick one of three missed FG's or convert a 4th down. Not that difficult.

SIAP but Apparently LSU players did not vote to retain Jeryl Brazil after his rap sheet accumulated more entries than his stat sheet.

Yes, I did. I said they have a good OL and RB. Maybe you didnt read what i said. But what Malzahn does is not difficult or rocket science. It gives his QB an option and puts his playmakers in space. Bama's defensive line is not what it used to be and they still should have won.

How should they have won? They missed the FGs and got outplayed plain and simple. Saban blew the game with that stupid call to try a long FG.

Seriously? They missed three FG's, not including the last one, and Saban made a boneheaded decision to go for it on the 13 yard line. You are implying that Auburn ran all over Bama and they couldn't be stopped. Bama's defense played well enough to win the game. Smh.

BGSU about to cost the MAC an $8 million dollar payday.

“We won!

And we’re poor.

Hmm.”

NIU defense looks like a MAC defense.
