I know he didn't "coach" those games, but I'm guessing that doesn't include his teams' bowl wins at CMU in 2009 and at Cincy in 2012.

Oh good point - he's 14-6 in extra prep games then.

I however, did NOT count those games in my other stats posted.

So since this was an actual bye week then we might as well use 9-1 going into the Vandy game as a reference. Not a bowl not 8,9,10 whatever. This was a bye week.

She's full of it IMO. Why all of a sudden she wants to get serious about the case when he's a STAR? I really have no sympathy for some of these women going after these players then they get mad when he stops talking to them. I personally don't feel he had to force a thing. Similar to Kobe Bryant's case.

If this response is serious, I totally disagree. We don't know the details and obviously the media reports could be completely erroneous, but this case was ongoing for many months before it was made public. Based on what the accuser's attorney has said though it sounds like the cop tried to convince the alleged victim to just let it go b/c the accused plays football for FSU. She publicly questioned the police for failing to investigate stating that he wasn't questioned for months after the incident, and then it is claimed that the police notified the FSU players' attorney of the allegations.

How many people do you know that were arrested or even accused of a crime that had their attorney contacted by the investigating officer before being questioned without being asked?? If that is true, the victim could have a major lawsuit against the police department, I would think.

I'm not jumping to any conclusions because I don't know what the true facts are here. The last thing I would ever do is assume that a potential victim would be doing this for some sort of revenge or for money without knowing the facts of the case.

Sorry for the long response, I know there are women out there with this mindset especially around athletes. If there is a chance this is true though, you have to give both parties the benefit of the doubt until the facts are known. Making your mind up either way and then trash talking someone based on your own uninformed opinion is dangerous and wrong. It is a major reason so many rapes never get reported in the 1st place.

Is Heurtelou a take over Lamin/Reed?

"I'm not sure. I think they are out of it with Lamin, but are still very much in it with Reed and don't think that one will be over with soon.

Some of that may depend on what happens with Williams as well.

I still think they want/need two junior college defensive tackles and there may be more pop up on the board between now and the December dead period but I don't know who."

I think that’s more of a ‘want’, now. After Thanksgiving all heck breaks loose, so who knows who could end up getting recruited. December 1 and everybody’s knocking on doors.

And honestly, can you blame them for not wanting to see a showcase of their third-string offense? Really?

Ya know, I've seen three UTC home games this year and they have a pretty good team. Alabama certainly won't have any trouble with them.

It wouldn't surprise me if UTC does better than UT did against Bama, though. Sad, scary ... but true. UT looked laughably bad against Bama.

This truly is an ignorant post. When I say "ignorant," I mean the true definition- lacking knowledge or awareness. Now, I am not calling you dumb, stupid, or anything like that. You just simply don't know and neither do I. But, for you to feel this way without knowing is ignorant.

Problem with today's world is people take sides and make statements without knowing what really happened. You really didn't in Kobe Bryant's case either. Just like in discussing what coaches and recruits discuss, no one has a clue except for a select few. Don't make statements without knowledge of the situation.

I certainly hope you don't have any daughters. If you do I feel sorry for them.

Too true. And by the time folks like us are even aware of it, the facts have been hidden, spun, compromised, and who knows what else.
