Lmao WHAT?!?

The cavs made the playoffs only two times prior to Bostons big three with Lebron and they didn't play at all in those two playoffs.

The cavs also didn't finish first in either of those seasons(4th and then 2nd). Cleveland was irrelevant in that move.

Lebron made the finals in his third year. In doing so he established the Cavs as the future team in the East. Boston responded by acquiring KG and Ray Allen to go along with Paul Pierce.

I can promise it's above board. These kids get a decent amount of money over and above their scholarships. They can easily get an unbelievable ride for $1000 a month including insurance. These guys aren't stupid.

Back in the days odd Travis Henry it was very different. They didn't get all that money then.
Henry rented most of the cars he drove around, I know for a fact, because my ex rented 'em to him. Yes, he got a deal, but he rented 'em, now where he got the money, I have no idea

Trades also and not colluding and taking less money.

That’s what is WWE-ish about the NBA though. Not getting into race, but you readily admit the NBA won’t suspend Lebron because he generates more money and notoriety. That means he and his team aren’t on the same playing field as others. They get to stack their deck per se. No competitive integrity- they basically admit they want certain teams to succeed. That’s BS and not true sports.
Completely agree with you. But it's the same for the stars in college football, the NFL, NHL, soccer, etc. It happens especially in team sports that generate a lot of money. Money in sports is the real culprit here and there is no answer. I could seriously talk for days on the subject. I love athletic competition and hate the influence money has on it.

I don't think we'll have a Top 40 class, but I hope I'm wrong.

To get a top 40 class you only need like 3 4 stars and we already got one. As it sits today we will be around 20-25 mark but there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

1) Recruiting classes mean less now than ever with the transfer portal. If you keep half of your class for 3 years that will be a victory in most cases.
2) There are always late season coaching changes that could flip 2-3 kids one way or the other. For example if LSU was to open up, if you swoop in and take one kid that could bump you from the 24th class to the 21st, etc.

No it didn't. Stop it. I'll hear an argument about a response to beat Detroit but not Cleveland. Get outta town

Are you 90? What time do you eat dinner? Lol you said you were hammered at 5:15 😂

Sorry, I realized you are correct. Why would Boston assemble a team to beat the Eastern Champs when they could assemble a team to beat the team that lost to the Eastern Champs. That makes sense.
