Lebron joining going to heat was in direct response to the Celtics BIG 3 of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and KG. They all joined forces to beat Lebron in Cleveland. Also the decision took place at a boys and girls club and Lebron used that event to generate 3 million dollars for the boys and girls clubs. As far as social media goes, he is entitled to his opinion and viewpoint just like everyone else.Just go through his history: The Decision, going to build a super team, mocking Dirk being sick in the Finals, the constant flopping...those are all just basketball related. Im sure there are more. This criticism is nothing new; he brought it on himself early. I’m not on social media, but he strives to get attention and wants what is really only best for him.
An All-Time great...no one debates that. But I just don’t care for how he goes about doing it.
I understand the process..... still don’t think it was all handled above board..... I don’t have an issue with it...... just want it to be us again.I can promise it's above board. These kids get a decent amount of money over and above their scholarships. They can easily get an unbelievable ride for $1000 a month including insurance. These guys aren't stupid.
Back in the days odd Travis Henry it was very different. They didn't get all that money then.
Nobody is saying that LJ has never experienced racism. He's also experienced plenty of athletic privilege. Regardless, calling out the cop was ignorant, bigoted, and racist. If black lives were his true focus, he should have commended the officer for the black lives he saved while following police protocol.Just because he's rich doesn't mean he hasn't experienced or been victimized by racism. I imagine money doesn't help the feeling of being treated differently because of your skin color.
And it's funny, I'm not a Lebron fan, like at all, I just feel like the initial argument had holes in it. Thank you for your thought out and well put point. I can certainly see your point.
They didnt join forces to beat lebron......the Celtics traded for Garnett and Allen to make a run at a championship..... Cleveland was not better than the western conference....Lebron joining going to heat was in direct response to the Celtics BIG 3 of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and KG. Well yall... We need to join forces to unseat that Cleveland team that got swept by SA. You got that backwards. Buddy couldn't beat Boston or Orlando so he joined the heat.Lebron joining going to heat was in direct response to the Celtics BIG 3 of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and KG. I sort of read it as...a UT assistant. He also said an out of conference team was coming after some of their best young guys...1 on offense, 1 on defense...maybe looking at it from our own perspective, but it sounded too familiar to our situation.Curious which sec assistant mentioned us in one of those quotes.
Lol zero reason to make it racial, from you or the journalist. He is one of the top athletes, most popular, and most money generating, period. They won't suspend him because of money, views, and popularity. Bringing in race is hilariously off base to any person familiar with professional sports.
And there is nothing "off the top rope" about this quote. He basically copied exactly what Barkley said and added cajones and black privilege for more clicks from mouth breathers looking for racist validation.
Paul Pierce couldn't beat Lebron so they go out and get KG plus Ray Allen. As for the San Antonio team. That was an all time great team wit 4 hall of famers. Who did Lebron have then?Well yall...
