Meh. I'm gonna miss Toot, but if he doesn't want to be here, he doesn't want to be here. No idea what all happened behind the scenes to make him feel like he was best served leaving. His dad really didn't help matters. Not gonna wish him ill though.

I'd be good with finding at least 2 ILBs in the portal. We need the experience, and it would help with rotation. Texas guy could be one, but I still think we'd need one more. Wonder what's up with that kid from USC?

And CBs. Man, I'd love to pick up a couple of good CBs. Wonder if we've been in touch with the kid leaving Bama? Or for that matter, any CBs? Looks like a position of need IMO.

?? Gilbert is still in the portal. Just wondering where he will end up. 2 of his high school teammates here maybe they’ve been in his ear. He’s a huge get for who ever lands him, but his trail has gone pretty cold since he backed out of that Florida commitment.

Has to be some issues with him, IMO. Could be grades, could be something else, but it makes no sense that he hasn't found a home.

Rumors he was homesick. Then rumors he wasn’t and it might’ve been grades. Most recent articles think he is likely to go back to LSU. His situation will be interesting no matter what, since he went into the portal, transferred, and then went back into the portal. Gotta imagine he’ll have to sit out a year no matter where he goes next.

It’s amazing to me that Tennessee has hired 4 straight coaches that didn’t understand this quote. Kiffin, Dooley, Butch and Pruitt had no idea how to adjust their “system” to the players that they had...

I believe that Coach Heupel does understand that quote and demostrated it during the Spring game.

I am truly excited for the season to start. I can’t wait to see which of our opponents’ coaches also don’t understand that quote as Tennessee runs up the score on them! 🤠
