I get your perspective but Barnes isn’t going anywhere. Football saga, relatively new women’s coach, etc. Barnes is a program stabilizer and satisfies Admin with all of the other smoke...

Nate Oats wasn't a known quantity. Most hires are about getting lucky, especially when you're not a blue blood program. Are you aware of UT's track record? I am.

Because we dont, we have a program builder. Now when he gets it to its ceiling what are you going to do? Let it die or get the guy who pushes it over the top. Seems like most fans are willing to let it die.

How many coaches are clamoring to come to UT? We are not a destination school for basketball. You're far more likely to see a step back when Barnes does eventually leave than you are to see a step forward.
