100% agree. So much talent on offense and probably 6th or 7th in the SEC as far as defensive talent. I think it’s time we finally see elite QB play on Rocky Top. It’s going to win us a lot of games.Don’t let anyone tell you there isn’t talent on this team. With a smooth install offensively... this COULD be a 8 win football team.
Were Herndon, Maurer, Harrison, and Salter all 5’s or high 4’s?
Payne's carefully scripted "apology" skips right over intent. Neither Payne nor UF are denying it was intentional.
The SEC practices selective enforcement. The conference addresses incidents and issues when it wants to and ignores those it wants swept under the rug. SEC response is often driven by which schools are persistent and determined in their demands and which are not.
There's a way to speak up without being whiny. A player was seriously injured and it could've been much worse. It's reasonable to ask the SEC to step up, address this publicly and show that a player intentionally causing harm to an opposing player isn't going to be overlooked or condoned. That's good for the game.
its ******** that this league's leadership has its lips grasped so firmly around the sack of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. It's so ****ing flagrant and apparent to anyone. It's one reason why many will find other endeavours on Saturdays. The bias in the SEC is terrible, from top to bottom. Sankey is pathetic.
its a solid staff. quiet, professional, and experience on D. Offense has the pedigree. So much success depends on leadership. The only way to change that is to whip their arses on the playing field, court, and diamond.
I believe that we now have the coaches in each sport to do just that. Basketball? Check. Baseball? Check. Football? Check. Maybe not this year, but it’s coming.
Personally, I think the perfect coaching staff was hired for football. What type of offense does bama have the most trouble with? The exact offense the CJH is a master of...if alabubba has trouble with it, then the bowl cut dawgs will also struggle. floriduh can’t handle it either. Wait, you say that ole miss scored a ton of points on bama and still lost. Well, our HBC also hired a very good defensive staff. Garner knows how to take it to saban. Ekeler is going to have the ST players and OLBs so fired up for those games that the three teams won’t know what hit them.
I cannot wait! GBO!
Bro back in those days that’s exactly what we were all taught to do in order to gain space. Hard swipe through with the elbows out. If you catch em you catch em. Different era and regardless it’s not at all the same sort of play. That used to happen all the time. Noah simply took a good one.
All the Goal Posts will be gonepeople will be taking sod off the field.....

Gotta keep the boat pointed toward shore, so when this NCAA hurdle is cleared, we can pick up steam in recruiting

Sensabaugh and Witten are all over Tri Cities.
The elbows could hit all levels when mixed with a pivot foot. Just depended on how tight the defense was. Watson’s is a little too aggressive and that’s why he got called for the foul, but that was predominantly a basketball move back in the day. Usually, if the defensive player was playing too tight, they would take it under the chin on a swipe more upwards and over. Was a very common gathering move back in those days though. What level did you swing your elbows? Unless the players around you were way shorter, it was not head height. Payne and Fulkerson are essentially the same height. Agreeing with you.
