One other positive about Jean-Mary coming on board (and sorry if it’s been mentioned) is that he has three years of coordinator experience. Always good to have that level of experience when you’re game planning and when you’re calling a game.

Yeah, I like the recruiting coordinator experience too. If he coached and recruited as a position coach well enough to earn both those roles, then he must be a hell of a position coach. (SIAP also, haven't read past couple of days)

I wouldn't mind sneaking in on that group. They still have the 50% capacity thing going but as soon as they get more people vaccinated they will open back up. They are saying maybe by late May or mid June but who knows really.

If Heupel is gonna round out his staff with a ST coach I hope he considers Mark Elder. He was solid as a member of Butch's staff and has a prior connection with Banks. He's currently coaching high school ball in Ohio.

I only hate him if he goes to one of our big rivals so he can help them beat the sh** out of us the next year or so...which it sounds like he is planning on doing.

Looking forward to football season. We'll learn a lot about this staff and what to expect.

I think it is a very good staff considering the mess we are in. I just hope they can get good players and build an exciting improved team that plays hard for sixty minutes. I think that will get us at least back to the top if the mid-tier in a few years.
