I would imagine that he got a bump in title along with a bump in pay to stick around and I do think Feldman, Brice, Thamel, someone would have announced that.

As we've seen, that doesn't happen immediately. We've gotten plenty of guys raises and new, shiny titles.

It's going to go something like this: Washington will tell Ohio State he's staying and that will leak to Football Scoop or Rivals or something. They will report it, we will move to another candidate, then in like two or three days, Ohio State will release something about a pay raise for AW.

Because there's no way CJH sat down with Steele and left that room saying "there's no way I'm dealing with this wet blanket everyday". CJH was handed an absolute mess here with the Steele situation and I'm sure it could be a little ugly behind the scenes.

This is his most critical hire, and VN poster opinions probably don't weigh heavy. He's got to find someone he trusts 100% to work that side of the ball.

Too bad for them that the south doesn't have a compact on Tennessee river water like the western states do the Colorado.
