We need to get off the whole let’s hire people that love Tennessee jag. Plus every assistant/SEC tied coordinator or coach. It’s a faulty argument. We’ve gotten shafted over and over again and I just roll my eyes when I hear “hire the guy that bleeds Orange!” Hire the chief! I only really listen to Tony when there is something really specific to discuss. His postgame show, during the season when there are games to talk about, during a coaching search, etc.

In the absence of something specific to talk about, he rambles on and on about nothing in particular and has a lot of inside jokes/references with certain callers that nobody else understands. It doesn't make for great radio for obvious reasons.
