I'm trying to be positive, but we are swinging and missing on third tier. I love Tennessee but I'm ashamed of how far the administration drove this program down. I agree, things do feel hopeless.

I don't know what to say except I am a Vol till I die, and I am going to cheer for the guys that want to be here, and I hope to at least see us slowly get better over the years.

Hopefully Heupel can bring us a few good moments at least.

If we get Brian Blake Baker...do we average scoring more points per game in basketball this year or average giving up more points per game in football in the Fall?

And if opponents average 45 points a game to our 42? I get it. Some of you are perfectly happy with just having an exciting offense. That's fine. But what excites me is winning. I want to win. I don't care if it's 6 to 3 or 46 to 43 as long as we come out on top. Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, not sure how but I underestimated the perception assistants / coordinators would have about the program. I thought we could pay 1.0 - 1.5 and get a decent coordinator. Oh well, hopefully we score a lot of points.

It’s an offensive game these days, those that haven’t figured it out get passed by. Frankly I love old grind em out games with all defense, just isn’t today’s game due partially to today’s rules..

It’s college football, everyone involved, including the players, is overpaid for what amounts to nothing more than entertainment. But since that’s the way it works can we at least get a lion tamer that can actually train lions? It’s a given that we’re going to pay more than that particular talent should be worth.

Freeze is 1000% different situation than Chadwell. Freeze lied to his own players and recruits about the investigation’s findings.

Just gotta hate it for the poor guy that people don’t forget and now nobody trusts him ☹️
