I meant Ohio state this season..... coastal attempted 4 less passes and 2 less runs per game..... Ohio state was more explosive but seeing as he was at coastal Carolina that is to be expected.Football has changed dramatically in those 20 years and even changed a lot in the few years since urban left Ohio state.
We are going to see tonight that on display
One thing about Chadwell's offense. There were lots of folks saying Urban's offense would never work in the SEC. Just sayin'.
Freeze may have won in the SEC but he done less with more toward the end of his downfall. Chadwell has done more with less. The guy has beat two top 25 teams this season. Chadwell is who I would go with imo. Yes it’s rolling the dice but our luck has to change eventually with hiring these non P5 coaches.I don’t look at it as saving money? I look at it as taking a chance on talented potential. I would prefer to go experience/high floor route but if we hired Chadwell i don’t think it’s cheap. One of the recently fired coaches or maybe even freeze would be the “cheap” route Bc they have no leverage.

You have no idea what could happen. What we do know is Pruitt is not a good head coach and is burying us. It’s time to move on and let someone else try to fix this program. That is a terrible decision. Pruitt needs another year at that point. We're going through all this to hire mid major again.
We'll be right here in 4 years again.
We can sit here and talk about every coaches negative. Nick Saban ugly as hell, see I can do it to. Point is, you have to pick the best option, and that’s freeze, at this point.Freeze may have won in the SEC but he done less with more toward the end of his downfall. none of us know. we're speaking in hyptheticals. it's called conjecture. You have no idea what could happen. What we do know is Pruitt is not a good head coach and is burying us. It’s time to move on and let someone else try to fix this program.
His offense would work. Spread option is a nightmare if he has the QB that can run it.Wow. So many knee jerk reactions.
"He doesn't have the balls"--How do you know ?
"His Offense won't work" or "UGA will tackle us in the backfield"--Do your research. His Offense uses the same Zone and Gap blocking schemes you see every day in the SEC. He just dresses it up differently. What he does is easily adaptable.
"We need more Pro-Style"--You mean like Chaney? Inside Zone run Opposite a level Back with no motion?
"Couldn't hire a high level DC"---Pruitt is supposedly high level and half the time we can't even line up.
"He had a bunch of 2 and 3 stars"---It's Coastal Carolina DUH
I'm not all in on the guy but come on.
Baylor has nothing to do with his ability to coordinate a defense, and Steele has put some really good defenses on the field at AU, and his work there is a huge reason Mehlzahn wasn't fired a long time ago, plus he seems to have adjusted to the newer offenses well since that West Virginia game.I just always remember him giving up 70 points against WVU when he was at Clemson and Dabo firing him. Plus I remember him at Baylor.
Rich Rod's would never workOne thing about Chadwell's offense. There were lots of folks saying Urban's offense would never work in the SEC. Just sayin'.
They can afford it. And will keep doing it as long as tickets are sold. Chadwells offense would sell tickets. It’s innovative and different.none of us know. we're speaking in hyptheticals. it's called conjecture.
my point is that this is/will he the singular most important hire for Tennessee in 20 years when that time comes. they cannot afford to buy from the bargain bin.
Talking **** to someone by making personal attacks, then moving on to the Special Olympics? You do you.You straight up suck, dude. You couldn't even troll at the Special Olympics. Fulmer completely botched this mess and you know it.
Sweet user name too. Would be a lot cooler if it were "Tennessee Jed", but you don't deserve that handle.

He's never been around a place like this before, UT has 24/7/365 coverage and that's more than a lot of NFL teams. The praise that comes with this job when things are good is near heaven but when things are bad you'd probably rather go to hell and face the devil. I don't think he could handle it, JMOWow. But, he does have HC experience at least. It is a risk, no doubt.
Maybe he can or can't, but saying he doesn't have the balls? He's never been around a place like this before, UT has 24/7/365 coverage and that's more than a lot of NFL teams.
