This is the best possible outcome. No way in Hades that happens to us.Guys my negative outlook on this is premised on the expectation that TN has no hire lined up, that they will finally fire Pruitt after a public dispute over his buyout, and then start a 4 week search lasting into February and hire a mediocre at best replacement. In that case, i believe this is horrible news.
If we somehow have a replacement lined up that has a good reputation, and has a core staff ready to roll and there is 48 hours or less from the time pruitt is fired and the hire is announced, then this could work.
Yes . This didn't need to take place , the only thing that needs to be addressed is the on field proformance enough said .
Not a good look for our fan base. Imagine a father of a player who is sick and tired of our whining fan base
Penalties are a coaching issues. Especially when the same ones by the same players happen over and over. THATS COACHING. But the players love their coachPenalties don’t mean you quit- just not disciplined. These guys didn’t quit- just weren’t good.
Considering how often coaches get fired, leave for other jobs, etc nowadays, you’re an idiot to commit to a school primarily for the head coach. If I had a kid who was getting recruited, I’d ask my son if he could see himself at a particular school for 3-4 years no matter what happens to the coach or coaches.
Salter is my QB since he committed to UT, not the school.
