Don't personally care where they're rated. Let's see how their college careers go. I like both, but both are going to need good coaching. Ain't gonna happen under Pruitts staff, but this next staff they both can hopefully shine. Butch sucks. But he never lost to GA State, he certainly wasn't getting blown out every year by UGA and UF. He's better. But it's like comparing the to piles of **** at the end of the day 🤷‍♂️

The problem is that the most enjoyment out of UT football the last 15 years has been the first season (we lose but just wait till x-coach gets it rolling) and second season (still lose but wait till x-coach gets his players and two better Assistants) of a new coaches reign before the realization sets in that x-coach isn’t any better than the last 3 dorks we paid millions of dollars to leave were.

That hope is what we want. There is zero hope associated with Pruitt. If he isn’t fired now. He will be after next years’s debacle. Cause the wins aren’t happening either way.

I just want to choose Joy.

I think Kiffin, Freeze and Sark would all be realistic possibilities, if we somehow made a change (we wont) and there's no reason why we shouldn't get beyond hiring one of those 3 guys. They all have HC experience, and have all orchestrated offenses that have put up points in the SEC. This is why I'd rather hire one of these guys than go with someone like Campbell, Chadwell, Napier etc

JMO of course.

Exactly-- that's why none of his assistants really pan out because Saban is pulling the strings at Bama... The only guy that tried to do his own thing was Kiffin and that is why you saw them get heated with each other so many times... Kiffin wasn't doing what Saban told him to do... And don't say kirby because that little 'ish is only doing what he's doing because of the influx of talent, not coaching.

Jeff Brohm - 49-35 HC record

All have run multiple programs and have had success. All are offensive-minded. Would I be jacked up about everyone on this list? Not really. Are any of them guaranteed successes? No they aren't.

But all are damn sure a better bet than Jeremy Pruitt - and this list looks the same in December 2020 as it does in November 2021.

What has Kiffin proven? Got fired by USC...... the raiders..... improved us by 2 games bc he fixed crompton slightly(def was already good)...... he did good at Florida Atlantic but he still had a 5 win second season there.

we only care about ratings....when it supports our point? k.

doesn't change the fact what you're doing in regards to Dobbs and how Jones 'decided' to use him is revising history at it's finest.

i'd argue that dobbs added at least an additional year to Butch's tenure, while JG may be taking a year, or two, off pruitt's.

that's how important it is to have quality qb play, imo. Butch was the benefactor of some, Pruitt.....not so much.

Even taking the QB management out, it's a HUGE STRETCH to think Pruitt is even half the HC Jones was. Jones year 3 team would beat Pruitts by 50. He built a better roster. The program and moment was just too big for him.

We're a destination job....hasn't stopped the last 3 hires from being MEDIOCRE. Regardless of where they coached, that's their win percentages at this point in their careers. You've got nothing other than stubborn opinion to claim Gus is mediocre is the point, not matter how many times you post it over and over.
