I mean at least Freeze is tuned in and willing to be himself. Like him or not he isn't hiding or backing down from his doubters. Butch hid behind a facade of weird phrases and systems he built into a phony persona. We never knew that guy and still don't.

I'm not saying I love Hughs Twitter stuff. But he is who he is. He sounds like an Evangelical that thinks he can change folks one tweet at a time.

I also sometimes wonder if he thinks he's sending people direct messages lol. It's a weird thing to do for sure. Like something my grandmother would do.

All I care about is winning tho so bring him home.

I highly doubt the top Tennessee kids in 2022 are considering Liberty, Louisiana, or Coastal Carolina.

I get that, but if I am the coach, and I think I might be going to a bigger program before they are going to sign it might make sense to stay in touch with them.

I don’t read much into Hubbs. He’s clearly frustrated because football is the main driver of content to his site and he can’t report anything.

Sure, speculation and rumor is fun for this board, but when you pay 10 bucks a month, you want real content. Nobody covering this beat can provide that right now for football.
$9.95, not $10

This in state recruiting class is going to be tough sledding next year. I think we'd be lucky to close with 1 of the top 5 and 5 of the top 15. Frustrating, but that's what happens when you have to settle in coaching searches. We have to break that cycle moving forward, even if it means bringing a lame duck back for another year.

I think it's pretty obvious Freeze isn't held in as high esteem as many here by this administration. I'm not sure they aren't right, but nevertheless if everyone isn't on board and pulling the same direction it wouldn't work anyway.

Or the situations at ole Miss and LSU are way better for potential long term employment vs being a possible 1 year rental for a coach that has now less than a year to pull off a major turnaround.

I see merit in allowing staff changes. But not in a 1 year all or nothing situation.

And if you keep Pruitt there's no way next year isn't a 'prove it'year.

We're in a tight spot again, and in reality it makes the most sense to reboot this thing again.

Otherwise.... You're almost committing to Pruitt for multiple years regardless of outcome. And that's just not doable.

So... He's got to go. And the reason for the tight lips and conflicting rumors is hopefully because the ones actually making the decisions are busy behind the scenes.

I'll still have to see it to believe it tho.
Lol it makes so much sense that we just assume it won't happen.

In response to the VolHarley post on VQ:

My only player source at Liberty is sensing something as well. I think the OP could be correct as well.

In case you missed earlier VQ post:
about making a change. My nan VolHarley said it’s about to happen by the end of the week. I asked will we like the selection, gave me a thumbs up.

Rando:
I remember VolHarley well. He was never wrong. Anytime he stepped out with some info it was always solid.

Liberty players' senses are tingling.

Randos confirming VolHarley's stats.

Joy incoming.

I liked the Pruitt hire in relation to the other REALISTIC candidates then (there weren’t many at the time as Tenn hasn’t been a destination job for YEARS contrary to popular belief), but now we need a 3-4 star recruiter that can coach up. Let’s hope for the best.

I should've remembered the most important rule - we RFers can never be fed after midnight.
