What people don't like about Gus is that he doesn't throw the ball all over the field, that's it. Bo in year 1 won 9 games, Marshall transfers in and wins 20 games in 2 seasons, he missed on Jeremy Johnson which no one saw coming the guy looked ready in the first two years when he got mop up duty but wasn't ready to be the main guy, still Auburn went 7-6 and 8-5 during those 2 down seasons before Jarret Stidham showed up.

I mean if you don't want run heavy RPO then just say that.

Bo Nix, Sean White, and Jeremy Johnson haven't had good numbers but still collectively have gone 30-19 while the offense averaged 29.4ppg. That's underachieving, but hardly sucking I -wish- we had that same 4 year stretch to complain about right now.

I don't care what the scheme is as long as it works, and I've already said a few times in this thread that I'd be OK with hiring Gus. He meets what my requirement would be for a head coach if I was in charge, which is a guy who has a track record of success at the P5 level. He'd be a big upgrade over Pruitt.

Bo Nix and Jeremy Johnson, I don't know how else to say it, absolutely suck. Look at Bo's numbers this year...he has several games where the passing numbers are JG-esque; he's a better QB than JG only because he has better escapability. Not many TD, plenty of turnovers, highly inefficient. Look at how he plays the position - nearly every throw is either on the run or off his back foot, even if he isn't being pressured. I don't think he's been coached there at all.

Absolutely. Like some have said and AP alluded to it Saturday. A lot of hate for JP this year is JG hate that turned to him after he kept trotting him out there after UK.

Blake has balls and I like it, Pruitt tried to belittle him a few weeks ago. This is what happens when you act like an ass and treat people like sh!t behind the scenes. If Pruitt doesn't like it maybe he should go ahead and get that coordinator job he's been telling people about, it'll only take 2 minutes, right Jeremy?
