Marrone is not a good coach, though.

His college record suggests otherwise. Look at where Syracuse was for the 5 years before he took over, and where he got them. Just because he’s not a good NFL coach doesn’t mean he’s not a great college coach. Take Nick Saban for instance. I think Marrone or O’Brien either one would do very well here.

An executive can compound a mistake by not having a "what comes after" plan. It's quite possible to replace a turd with dung in that scenario.
True.
The ship is taking on water, you can sit there and hope it stops or take steps to fix it.
Getting rid of the problem is the first step. This program can’t get much lower than it is.
A blow out loss to Kentucky in a year where they’ve already fired staffers lol
Losing by 3 TDs to Bama, Florida and Georgia every year...
we loss truck loads of assistants Bc the head coach.
In a year, we’ll be replacing the entire staff at more cost than cutting ties now.
There’s nothing redeeming about the currrnt situation.

For those who don't frequent the FF, not sure if this person knows, but this is most likely tbh

"I have to be a bit careful since I have media ties but it is supposedly about basketball AND football.

They are going to cancel all remaining football games since Bama and Florida are playing for the SEC Title anyway. And basketball is going on hiatus until mid-January. When it returns it will be conference only play and possibly some weekends in a bubble."

Redefines the definition of trash.
WVU was a pass first offense that out-scored everyone, and lost their QB, top two WR's, and best offensive lineman. It was going to be a rebuilding year even if Holgo stuck around. Athlon had them predicted at #58 in the country going into the 2019 season.

From Hubbs

"There's all kinds of speculation out there. I don't think it's going to be bad news. I think if it were a schedule change or some kind of postponement they wouldn't promote it. They would just announce it. We know TV contracts are being finalized. There's been talk of loans to schools. So we will see."

So technically the gump won't get his signature win against Vandy and we get to fire him.

So the SEC is gonna loan us money to fire Pruitt? Nice.

It makes no sense to fire Pruitt, unless you have a guy lined up ready to take the job. And at this point I don't think the options available are worth it. That may change, but given the current pool of coaches, I don't see it.

If the recruiting class keeps bleeding out, I think anyone -including an interim- would be worth the change.

Oh no.... if they're shutting down football. They need to shut it all down. No more games and no championship game. List the 2020 SEC Champions as *COVID-19.

This season didn't "count" anyways
