It’s crazy. Pruitt has either fired the people he chose and hired, or they have left for lateral moves because they didn’t want to work with him anymore. Why would he suddenly be able to hire a better staff?

Are you excited about the possibility of Mike Bobo at OC for Tennessee's 2021 football team? This is highly comical to consider. Can't Pruitt get out of his comfort zone? Orange Throat discussed this yesterday but you could literally see as many as 6 coaching changes for next season. When you start doing the math it's going to get very expensive to bring a fledgling Jeremy Pruitt back in 2021. It's simple math. Tennessee won't attract highly sought after coaches in today's market without guaranteed two or even three year deals. We're talking about piling on potentially another $7 million in buyout money at the end of this deal. That's quite the investment when you stop and think about how little Pruitt has shown.

Bobo is the retread of a retread at this point. I never thought much of him as Richt's OC at Georgia, but he parlayed that into the Colorado St HC job. They fired him after the 2019 season, and he signed on to be dead man walking's OC at South Carolina. That whole staff was just fired, and he might sign on as dead man walking's OC at Tennessee.

Re: MVs post. It’s literally because that’s all admin has done for over a decade. They take advantage of the greatest fanbase in the country.

UTs administration cares nothing about winning and only draining your money. We collectively need to stop going to games, stop buying UT related things, stop all donations. It’s insane at this point.

What a clown show this program has become. I have no earthly idea how guys like ATL Vol and others can say with a straight face that Pruitt is coming back. Either they have no pull at all or they should stop giving their time and effort into something that literally does not give anything back to them. UT Football is dead.

I mean, Fulmer should give him a call to get Petersen to turn him down, but the guy resisted leaving Boise St. for years, and when he finally moves to a big program he's done in 5 years. I also tend to believe things Chris Petersen says more than I do Urban Meyer.

Yep. If someone ever fouled one of our players hard, you better believe that player was getting his later.

When I was in little league I pitched and played first base. One game, the other teams pitcher hit our second baseman. The next time the pitcher came up to bat I threw that ball as hard as I ever had and hit him square in the ribs. I felt kinda bad, but I also felt kinda good.

It’s not just that (though he certainly is worse than Chaney), it’s that Muschamp already tried this a year ago with the same guy in almost exactly the same situation. We know it won’t work, because we just saw it fail.

Edit: also, Bobo got a lot of flack this season for sticking with his flailing transfer QB too long. Does that remind anyone of anything? I mean, you can’t make this s**t up.

UT football is just a good ol boy's club. It's an expensive hobby for rich guys to toy around with and get into pissing contests over. Results on the field do not matter.
