I want them to CLEAN HOUSE. Except for Jay and Tee. Tell everybody else to kick rocks. So tired of what we do for this university to be bottom dwellers, and for ANYONE on here to say we aren’t is delusional at best.

We have to have a Win first mind set like Fl, Ga, Bama but we don’t. Fans and loyalists are jumping ship and the higher ups are not gonna do a damn thing. There, I said it.

Damn where’s my ***** COFFEE

Of course, they aren’t. It’s the TN way. However, I bet we may multi-millions in assistant coaches’ buyouts and hires to give Pruitt another year, in which it will be a year too late...ONCE AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW!! For the higher ups to be so smart, they sure are pretty dumb to not be able to learn this same lesson that keeps smacking them in the face about every 2-4 years.

That's because bandwagon Tennessee basketball fans are really Tennessee football fans, and they bring a football "analysis" to basketball. One loss in football means a lot more than one loss in basketball, so when we inevitably lose a game in basketball they freak out.

Yep, long as we get a top 8 seed and make the dance....I'd love to see Barnes win the regular season & SEC Tourney. May have a deep enough team this year to pull it off, especially if we can get solid minutes from some of the lower ranked guys from last year (ORN, Uros, Drew, Gaines) we may also see Walker earn some PT as the year plays out. But with EJ, Keon & Springer being as good as they are you got a solid 8 man rotation. If Barnes feels comfortable to open that up to 10 or 12 then this team could have great legs come tournament season.

Let's go to war, MV. Tell me where to be.

He wouldn’t have been a first or second day pick...he listened to the NFL Draft advisory. That’s why he came back. Whatever else has happened this season, he’s played in two consecutive years without a recurrence of blood clots and the scouts have had to notice he’s done so with basically one arm. If he can get physically right by the Combine, he prolly still won’t go 1st round but definitely will get snapped up second day. Then work towards those millions in the second contract.
I want the Titans to snap him up when he falls as a replacement for Saffold. A good bulldozer would work well in that offense.

If you can't help your QB up from a sack, that's not on coaching. You suck as a teammate. Coaches are getting plenty of blame for this season. This isn't on coaching. Periodt

I went back and looked at the Mizzou game and they were doing the same lousy stuff to JG. On the first sack, only Wanya comes over the help him up. On the second sack, three dudes were around him and no one helped.jg.png

I would for sure give Chris Petersen a call, maybe he's got the itch again?
Love the guy, think he's a great coach, but Chris Petersen retired because he found it too stressful to coach at the high pressure job of the University of Washington, in a pro city that only cares about the Seahawks and establishing anarchist autonomous zones. He isn't coming to the SEC.

You guys joke, but if this was something we could gather somewhere and fix, I'm in my car heading south from Ohio today! I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one, Vol call to arms and we'd have people from all over the country to rally on the Hill and get it fixed. Wish it was that easy.

Bring your mattress just to show em how serious you really are.

Hearing All Kinds Of Chatter That Pruitt Is Pitching A Reworked Coaching Staff:

Are you excited about the possibility of Mike Bobo at OC for Tennessee's 2021 football team? This is highly comical to consider. Can't Pruitt get out of his comfort zone? Orange Throat discussed this yesterday but you could literally see as many as 6 coaching changes for next season. When you start doing the math it's going to get very expensive to bring a fledgling Jeremy Pruitt back in 2021. It's simple math. Tennessee won't attract highly sought after coaches in today's market without guaranteed two or even three year deals. We're talking about piling on potentially another $7 million in buyout money at the end of this deal. That's quite the investment when you stop and think about how little Pruitt has shown.

If Bobo is the pitch at OC, just burn it down. That would also most likely mean Friend is back.

At this point, there shouldn't be "Butch's guys" and "Pruitt's guys"-- there should be one team, with one goal. IDT the program is as "toxic" as some say, but things do need to be fixed. Starts with the staff and leading by example. The paycut stuff sent a signal about commitment and all-in for UT. Try instilling a "One Tennessee" message after that.

I may get blasted for saying this, but so be it. It's very difficult to unify people from all different walks of life unless they have a singular focus. I think the program did a poor job of keeping the team focused on football thru CV-19 and made an even worse decision by wading into the middle of the social justice debate. This just further removed the focus from the only unifying force shared by all 120 of so players. Their motives might have been great, but I think it's had a decidedly negative effect on the performance of the football team on the field. We're losing either way, so it doesn't really matter. Just an opinion.

Didn't Urban also say that leaving Florida before winning another championship at THE Ohio State?

It has never been a Fulmer decision. Our AD hasn’t had an AD that was allowed to act since Dickey. We rule via a committee that is endlessly at war with one another. It’s why we’ve been in this mess for so long.
Never thought I'd miss Doug Dickey as he was pretty arrogant when I met him, but the man could get things done. I miss that.
