Arkansas has actually been the worst program in the SEC for multiple years running. i put big capital W next to that game when the schedule came out.

we were all so excited to see that's who we were getting from the West and that it's finally not some juggernaut.....

the only gamesi had us losing was Bama, GA, FL, ?'s next to Auburn and aTm. at worst 5-5. at best, probably 7-5, 8-4 if we pull an upset.

2-8/2-7/3-7...nope. not on the radar.

Well, we have hit that phase of attacking one another for differences in opinion. Sure fire way to know a coaching search is inevitable.


Oh, and one thing I have learned and hopefully we all have.... When LWS says it, take that check and cash it. No more doubting him when he tells us we suck and its over.

Probably 5.

He wins the games Pruitt does plus Kentucky, Arkansas, and Vandy.

Cut would need help on the defensive side of the ball, but he would have a QB developed.

Here's the saddest part...after that coaching search we were lucky to have ended up with candidates like Pruitt, Tucker, and Steele. I don't think any of those guys are good head coaches, but at least each of them had extensive experience as coordinators at top places. Until Fulmer took over and appeared to temporarily restore some credibility, I thought we were going to end up with Oak Ridge HS's O-line coach or something.

5 or 6, I'd say.

The defense is still bad up front, but we'd probably be running a 3-3-5 or something to mask it. Lots of zone to keep everything in front of us.

But I guarantee you Shrout would have been ready to play Week 1. And the offensive line would have its **** together.

The problem now is that he isn't in a position to attract top coordinators. He could have done that in 2018 right after he took over the job, but not now that he's on the hot seat. No quality coordinator is going to come here unless he has a huge turnaround season next year.

We've done the first part twice.

We paid what he wanted for Sherrer and Helton. When that didn't work we paid what he wanted for Ansley and Chaney.

He's not going to get out of the way.

ILB - Lance Thompson (currently at FAU, would crawl to Knoxville)

Hand may be out at Texas as well. I always thought he was a solid OL coach.

i don't know. we could do this for any coach someone wants to throw out there, and have been for two weeks.....

i think QB has been so bad, that if we got competent QB play, we'd probably be +5 in the W column over the past two seasons for sure....maybe more?

if you want reason numero uno as to why we haven't won games, especially ones we all think we should have, i'm going to go to the QB.

right behind it is all the stuff regarding CJP and how this thing has been managed....from asst coaches on down to how we decide on personnel groupings and anything in between.

but give us a QB that literally doesn't COST us games, and we win 9+ games last year and we're at worst .500 this year.
