Both of those guys may be great but we are far past the point of gambling on unknown commodities.

I get that but I think the benefits of snatching him away from Texas as opposed to waiting until he's fired out weighs the money benefits of waiting until he's fired. That's jmo and there is definitely an argument on the other side

Kirk Bohls is basically the Jimmy Hyams of Austin, so it's official now. Herman's fate still up in the air. All the BMD's were ready to pony up to pay the buyout when Urban was the replacement, no such consensus on anyone else.

Freeze. End the misery, Phil. Be a hero to Vol fans everywhere. Make Vol football fun again. Turn on the money spigot for UT again. We want to enjoy what we see on the field. We are tired of village idiots as HC's that cannot get along with their staffs, rosters, fans, etc. - much less hire and recruit the right guys. We know incompetence when we see it and will not support it anymore. Get over yourself, it's not about you being fired anymore. It's about getting the program back on track and winning. Jeremy cannot do that, Phil (and AV). Stop trying to sell it, we are not buying.

I think that Pruitt played both Strout and Maurer because they are Sophomores. If they hit the transfer portal, then next year, we would only have Bailey and Salter.

At least, that was my impression. Also, Strout may have surprised them with how well he did. Regardless of florida’s personnel and aggressiveness at that point in the game.

He's been an OC at Clemson and Arizona St and was with Bama as WR coach a bit. He's also been QB coach at 4 different places, including Clemson and Arizona St.

Because people only want Freeze. There are plenty of great coaches at smaller schools. Napier would be a good hire.
