ob who is connected to Atlanta said there was a group trying to swing for the fences. But one side wants to do it and the other side wants to give Pruitt more time. It would take everyone getting in line to make it happen.

I took the comment to mean that Randy Boyd has turned some folks loose to see who they could land with instructions to bring him someone the BOT cannot turn down. Meantime there are folks in the administration, the University, the boosters and even the BOT that would rather not invest in a change and are making that clear.
Boyd's no dummy, he knows he needs to be able to listen to them but then reply with, " I understand your concerns, but I don't believe we can pass up the opportunity to hire Bob Stoops." That neuters any objections before they can gain support.

TBC, I don't know who the "fence" is, just using CBS as my example.

BM needs to transfer. Best for him.

Pruitt needs to be fair and even with the QBs - can’t let one guy get away with disasterous picks while the other guy throws 1 and gets put into time out.

^^This x1000. Well without the BM part (that's his business but I think he's too injury prone and now, too gun-shy to do much here).

Also, if Pruitt is supposedly staying why would Tee go to Auburn for a job?
