"As a group, I thought the 49ers cornerbacks played well in training camp," wrote Barrows. "Emmanuel Moseley probably was the top guy, but Witherspoon wasn't far behind."
If he broke team rules, they have every right to pull his scholarship. Or maybe they just don't see it being worth the fight or like the kid and just had a disagreement who knows?Sooo uhh you can just “opt out” if you don’t like what is going on..... interesting..... lol good thing no one is losing a year of eligibility. However, sounds like a scholarship should of been taken.
Man that was tough to read. Prayers for you and your family.Guys I'm absolutely heartbroken. My dad passed away from surgical complications early Wed. morning at Vanderbilt hospital. He had a heart transplant 17 years ago and had just received his second on Tuesday. The surgery went well but his valves were too fragile for the heart to properly connect to and they weren't able to get his bleeding under control.
I've never really shared much about my personal life on here but my dad was a huge reason why I'm a Vols fan. Our shared passion for the team was an amazing way for us to bond. We would constantly text each other about commitments and would always talk on the phone after games...if the Vols won. If they lost, we both needed a day or two to cool off before mentioning it, haha.
My wife and I are expecting our first child in 6 weeks. It would have been his first grandchild. He was so excited to meet him/her (we don't know the gender yet), and now he won't be able to. My brother said that he will be our child's guardian angel.
I've read so many posts about people losing loved ones in these threads over the years and they've always touched me. Because I've always known my dad's life expectancy was going to be cut short due to his health problems and transplant. He got a second chance at life in 2003 but he paid dearly for it. He had so many procedures and operations to keep him going afterward and he took an entire pharmacy's worth of pills 100 times over. But he never complained and just kept going. Unfortunately, he ran out of gas at a time when I needed him the most, but my family believes that he was simply too tired for another fight and that he was at peace knowing his family was in a good spot.
My wife sent this pic to me last night of the three of us at the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jan. 2015. We attended many games together over the years and it was an annual tradition to meet up for at least one. I'm going to miss the hell out of him and I will never be able to watch a Vols game without him thinking of him and wanting to call him afterward to get his thoughts. Hug your loved ones, guys.

What the hell? Trey Wingo wasn’t a bad dude, so I don’t get the vitriol. Don’t be that guy rejoicing over someone losing their job. Must be another one of your scorching hot takes.@Jack Burton our prayers have been answered buddy

The article you shared is literally about Trey Wingo. Sheesh. At least read what you’re gonna post before you open your mouth. Idgaf about whatever you two were discussing but I only was pointing out the fact that you’re making yourself seem even more like an immature kid by pointing out someone lost their job & laughing. You’re worse than a female lol seriously. Who mentioned “Trey Wingo” other than you?...this was in reference to small talk amongst @Jack Burton and I last week how Mike Golic is super annoying as a radio host and that sooner or later he would be off the air?...Talking about a “Scorching Hot Takes”anyways take a late night walk with the dog and cool off buddy

I remember the name but legit knew nothing about this guy so read his profile/ coaching biography on the UT/ Notre Dame websites. Simply put, a great hire all around. Y’all may already know about him, but for those that don’t, here are the Things that stand out the most:
-Has been a TE coach since 2008. Should help our TE’s actually make a difference. Coached TE at: 08-09 grad assistant at Arkansas, 10-11 TE/FB at Illinois, 12-15 TE/ RC at ASU, 2016 OC/TE Memphis, 2017-2019 OC/TE Notre Dame
-VERY impressive PPG stats as OC: all 3 years at ND produced 30+ points per game (34.2 for 24th in 2017, 31.4 for 42nd in 2018, and 36.8 for 14th in 2019) as well as 38.8 for 16th in 2016 at Memphis.
-Helped produce single season records at ND in total rushing yards and yards per carry in 2017, as well as completion percentage by Ian Book in 2018 (68.2 %)
-At Memphis in 2016, produced top 20 finishes in: passing offense, scoring offense, passing percentage, first downs gained and passing efficiency.
-top 25 recruiter for rivals and 247
-2018 finalist for Broyles award
Simply put, this guy was an absolute steal and I see why he has been mentioned recently. Hope his history translates to improvements to our offense
It talks about Golic too....The article you shared is literally about Trey Wingo. Sheesh. At least read what you’re gonna post before you open your mouth. Agreed. I just get tired of the same people clowning others misfortunes & acting a fool every chance they get. Just rubs me the wrong way is all but I digress. Dropping the topic & conversation going forward (not being a smarta** toward you either)It talks about Golic too....
Also, Golic has been on the air since I was in like middle school lol so I think he will be fine as far as money goes..... but I agree it’s not funny when people lose their jobs.
